Hi Al, Thanks for a fantastic series of the Birmingham Baltis with Zaf. I've cooked every single one of your featured baltis, using the Shababs Balti Bowl and the Shababs base gravy. Every one turned out stunning. Hairy Bikers one was fantastic! As was the Jalfrezi! Both my favourites. Thanks again for all your videos, I've been cooking your recipes for a few years now. Cheers. Kevin

Al, I love your videos mate! I especially like the footage shot inside the restaurants, as its always fascinating to see them work and what goes into a takeaway. I'll be honest, I appreciate that the gas burner and other apparatus you use will produce the best flavour, but for me this makes me feel like this isnt really a dish I can make. When you originally did these dishes on your hob at home, I felt I could relate more and this would spur me on to use your recipes and experiment. I know everyone's different, but I really hope you can do some more kitchen videos with pans and apparatus we all find in our cupboards soon! :)

But if a strong comment stating there’s no point in making curry’s if I’m not prepared to make base gravy.
It’s only BIR that requires base gravy and that’s to allow restaurants to cook mass amounts of dishes quickly. There’s plenty of ways to cook curry’s without base. Also, base gravy is a bland neutral flavour.

Stop being useless then and search Al's curry base gravy. Use a little initiative. It will go a long way.

@@philipatkinson7039 When I want to watch a video food recipe I don’t expect to have to watch multiple videos on how it’s made. The best food channels put ALL THE INGREDIENTS in the video or description.
