Billy sure can play and with that Jerry esque tone he shined but I definitely dug that stretch from Carlos that kind of had a bit of chuck berry syncopation.

My all time fav drummer still has it. So good to see Bill playing and having fun with friends. Wish I could shake his hand one time and say thank you for the amazing music and lifelong memories.
I envision a utopia that's closer than it first appeared. A future utopia where every band is a Dead cover band. The music is actually on its way to eternalize what we have all longed for. "A brotherhood of man" Music can and will bring us all back around the fire once again.

It took 8 minutes for the camera person to find Billy. I kept thinking “there’s some other guitar part here that is clearly not Santana. Where is it?” Awesome stuff though. The Dead’s catalog is timeless and also ready for a new generation.

Jerry got much of his melodic sensibility from playing bluegrass. Billy has incredible melodic sensibility from bluegrass playing and it transfers to electric so nicely. Hope to see him do more of this in the future.
