It’s just so fun going down memory lane with you with these catalogs! I have two of the heavy 65th anniversary bags. And Jane, I had a patchwork Ergo that I wore so much. 💞
Thank you so much! I'm a little worried people won't watch the whole thing, lol, but I did put chapters! 😂 I'm glad I still have a couple items from this era!
Hi Jane, I watched this last night and it was so late I was too tired to comment. I enjoyed seeing these catalogues so much. They brought back a lot of good memories. I remember the tiny bag charms. I bought one for a friend in the late ‘90’s and it was so pretty.
Your catalogs really brought back memories, I had so many of these bags …..I remember my mom having a lot of the limited edition bags. But over the years I gave so many away. The basket bag you were talking about was a limited edition and my mom went to the Madison Avenue store in NYC to pick it up she paid over the phone for it and there were 3 women waiting for the bag if she didn’t come in that Saturday to pick it up. She drove in from Connecticut and came back with 4 shopping bags, she love coach shoes and bags. I remember there being other straw/ wicker bags that summer and she had them all. I know I still have 2 of the limited edition straw bags packed away in a closet in there dust bag , stuffed and in coach boxes. I think I may go looking for them! Thanks for the video Jane
Wow Nancy, thank you for sharing that story! Looking at these pictures brings back many memories for me too, of that particular moment in my life, when I was newly engaged, then newly married, having a great time, and starting to get more into bags and fashion! Such a fun time to be buying Coach! (and LV!)
My mom bought me my very first "designer" bag in the early 2000s. I believe it was a mini duffle. About 8 years ago I stupidly sold it at a garage sale and I've been thinking about it ever since 😢
This was so cool! I had a couple from the 2000 era collection - beautiful leather back in the day and timeless! I just sold them last year and they still looked great 21 years later!
I totally remembered these like it was yesterday. I had so many of those bags…and still have a few like the patchworkdenim Ergo tote, etc. I loved the slgs from the first catalogue and have several. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you! Sometimes I am tempted to look at the preloved market and see if any of this stuff is around in great condition. As they say, they don't make them like this anymore!
I loooove seeing the catalogues from the early 2000s! I love early 00s fashion anyway, so it was great to get such an interesting look at the history of Coach 😍 thank you for such an interesting video!
Thank you so much! I wish I had more of them, like from between 2000 and 2004 so I could see when they made that transition from conservative business to fun fashion handbags.
I wish coach could be more creative like back then 😢 now they are making same bag every year Though I thrifted some coach bags which came 2005-2011 and also I recently bought 65th anniversary legacy black bag and it’s quite heavy but I loved it 💕💕 thanks for this informative video
I'm living for this! Yes, that's my fur ski bag 😍 '06-'10 is the quintessential era for Coach, and I recognize so many pieces that I had and that Zane's mom had- it's so fun reliving those memories. And they did sell the Legacy XL Basket Hangtag tote (not sure if that's the actual name) - BIG $$$ it pops up on eBay from time-to-time for a pretty penny still. Thank you so much for sharing, this was so fun!
Thank you Caleb, I was waiting for your take on this one!! 🥰 I figured you would totally get it😀 As I was flipping through I kept seeing so many bags I had on my wish list, some that I got, some that I didn't. I was in the boutique by my work so often, they started to recognize me when I came in, lol!!
@@janehex watching this has definitely increased my “looking for” list to search on eBay. Being nearby a Coach store back then had to be dangerous! We had a Coach outlet like 30 minutes away, and for a time it feels like we went at least once a week back then 😆
Do you mean the Coach catalogs? I just collected these as a customer back when Coach was handing them out. Some of the old ones might be on eBay though?

Thank you so much for watching Dawn! It was a long one, but it started out at 53 minutes, lol 😂
@@janehex I would have still watched! 🤗
So many styles that are different and also similar!!
And so many that could be coming out today, too!

I miss the catalogues of the past. The layouts were beautiful. Online browsing is just not the same!
Me too!! I'm sure someone at Coach decided to save money by cancelling print marketing and said "the website does the same thing". Not really!

Thank you for watching! The leather and special details were so nice back then, and real brass hardware!
Love the catalogs
Thanks for watching!
@@janehex your welcome 😊❤️
This is incredible
Now the DEMI bag is back!
