- in this video you'll see me remove the airbag and the steering wheel from a 2016 Dodge Challenger Hellcat. I will show you how to change the airbag cover, swap out the buttons, install matching carbon fiber paddle shifters, and carbon fiber button trim. I will also be covering wiring in an aftermarket heated steering wheel harness into the factory steering wheel harness. and finally after all that I get to put it back on the car, plug everything in, and double check it.
Thank you for explaining the airbag removal haven’t seen anyone really explain it. Was one of the first to order from zen 2 years and the wheel is still looking amazing. Zero wear on leather areas. Enjoy the new wheel! 🤘🏻

Between 2 and three months to get it in my hands. I've ordered a few custom parts from a few different companies and I have to tell you this is the best time frame I've gotten in this post Corona pandemic environment. I'm still waiting on parts I ordered in April from Billet Technologies🤷♂️. It's the price you pay in the custom world
thanks for the info. I also ordered from zencarbonfiber this past Nov. during their blackfriday sale. Hoping mine gets here by mid Jan.

Sorry one more question. Can you outline which was the power,ground and two blue connections ? When you say far right is positive that is looking from my point of view looking at the plug ?
What size screw did that end up being for the paddle shifters?

Hey there, I just received my Zen heated carbon steering wheel for my Dodge Durango. Our oem heated steering wheels are the same, as well as the wire harness. I followed your directions on hooking up the wires for the heat function, but mine still doesn't work. I press the button, it turns on for 2 seconds, and then shuts off... I can't figure it out. I even went as far as cutting out my harness from the original steering wheel (which happens to be the same configuration as what you mentioned but it still wont stay on..
There should be two wires that are the same color. Those are your feed wires, and it doesn't matter which way you put those on. the only other two wires have to be the positive and the negative. I played musical wires with the whole setup; and only one configuration managed to get the steering wheel to stay on and heat the wheel. I was pretty fortunate that it didn't seem to mess anything up it did exactly what you said. It's on for 2 seconds, and then it shuts off. At that point, if you want it to come on and stay on, you have to turn the whole car off and start the whole process over. At least, that's how it was with my car. As you can tell from my video, I was testing this with the other steering wheel still attached to my vehicle. I had to cycle the car off and back on even if I had the factory one plugged in. It still did that weird function thing where it just shut right back off. So make sure you cycle it every single time you try a new wire combination. Dodge would not help me at all with any information. Let me know if that helps you get it figured out

I specifically asked for B5 blue which is what my exterior paint is
What size is the main bolt? In the middle
Honestly I'm not sure. But I know it's a one-time use only it stretches type of bolt. I wound up getting it from the dealership directly
