Obviously all parents want to protect their children but if accusations are being made then check your child’s phone. If they haven’t done anything wrong then you can prove it. Sean should have asked for his phone a long time ago.
About bloody time dylan got caught and gary putting mason in his place was bloody satisfying to watch!
Finally he’s woken up and finally noticed that his son is a bully.

IIRC I think it was a shopping trip not a concert unless this was another situation.
“You’ve got no idea what it’s like at school.” Why do kids forget that EVERY grown adult has been through school? No excuses for Dylan. Doesn’t matter how tough someone is, or if they’re your mate, you don’t join in with bullying. You see what they’re being like and if you can’t speak up/they don’t stop then distance yourself. Glad Sean’s finally seen the light and had a go at him.
It's totally different at school now. I was bullied in school but at least I could go home and close my bedroom door. These poor kids today have no escape its as relentless online as it is in school. Wouldn't be a teenager/school aged now if you paid me!
Kids do it all the time it's trying to shirk responsibility for their own actions acting like what they're going through it worse than their parents when it reality it was a lot worse its just being called out more and more now with the access of social media.
Dylan is a right git and pushover not standing by his mate and now he's lost almost everything as a result this was so gratifying to see I can't stand bullies.

I absolutely feel for Liam when I was in year 7 at school I got bullied & pinned against the wall twice made me didn't wanna go anymore but the bullies got expelled thankfully & police was on patrol after school as they started bullying my friends to so come on Liam fight through this & stay strong young man don't let them get to you mate
I know Gary and Maria tried to tell him but I feel for Sean you never want to believe your kid could do or say those things
As glad as I am that Sean finally realised what was happening, I felt so bad for him when he cried
"It took guts to be fair" - I think Gary's respect for Sean rose during that scene.

I saw Sean in Manchester a few years ago good to see him acting as a dad he’s a good actor proper shouting being the dad u should have he knows how to discipline
When Sean said he was sorry to Liam. Something most people won’t pick up on but if you have ever suffered serious bullying, and I mean very serious. This is like such a relief on the head of the victim. To have the parent of the person who is destroying your life accept it and be on your side. Countless victims would give anything for that.
I feel sorry for Shaun. Then again Gary and Maria did try to tell him.

I have no sympathy for Sean as he did call the police on Liam claiming that Liam was bullying his precious Dylan. George also tried to tell Sean that Liam was being bullied but Sean wouldn't listen.George was right Dylan deserved everything his father said to him.

Ive been really impressed by the young actor who plays Liam (can’t remember his name) he’s always been a quiet character with not many lines but when they gave him this storyline he really showed how talented he is, I was tearing up watching him going through this awful experience.
But Dylan himself is being bullied by Mason, he's the ringleader in this whole mess.
Even if Mason is been bullied by Mason that doesn't make him innocent in helping Mason bully Liam.

I’m sorry but that isn’t a good enough excuse for jumping on the bandwagon and joining in the bullying. Have you learned nothing about history. Did you know that this type of stuff was what happened during world war 2. They all joined in on the bullying because they didn’t want to stand up against the bully.

This is award winning acting might act soft at times but stands up when he needs to that is the dad everyone wants
I’ve been looking forward to Sean learning the truth for awhile now. Now, even though I feel sorry for Sean learning what no parent wants to learn about their kid being a bully, I’m not too forgiving either. The mental state Liam’s in is just as much Sean’s fault as it is Dylan or Mason’s.
Get back to me when justice is served on Dylan and Mason & Liam’s better.

To be honest with you yes Dylan is doing the bullying but it’s mainly Mason thats doing it, I think Dylan is being tagged along and being forced to bully Liam which isn’t very nice. Its mainly Mason thats doing it all

I feel like people are missing Dylan’s side of the story. They forget that he’s being pressured into being Mason’s laggy.
Dylan is an enabler and in real life they are just as bad as the bullies.

This was such a brilliant scene for Ant cotton. It’s about the kids but he was also so strong here. You rarely see Sean blow up like this and raise his voice.
I also applaud Corrie for including SUCH an important line of ‘it’s just banter.’ I was livid when it got said but for all the right reasons, teens think this is just fun and meaningless. They don’t realise the lasting effect this can and sometimes does still have when you’re adults in the real world. I’m 34 had my own teen experiences but I can guarantee you people who made my life sad as adults will think ‘banter’ is what it was. Corrie have done and are doing great with this
If I was Sean, I wouldn’t just be ashamed with Dylan for the bullying at this point. With all of the other trouble he’s caused, I wouldn’t blame Sean for being ashamed of Dylan being born.

Her son was thinking about killing himself, sean had Liam arrested, 5 minutes before he came knocking he was threatening to call the police on Gary. Maria doesn't have to a appreciate Sean for anything after the torment her son has been through.
Why isn't he calling the police on his son? He should at least have taken Dylan over to apologize also.
By next week Sean will forget all about what happened.

In America, when a father caught his daughter bullying a person on the school bus, he forced her to walk to school. Another case of a young boy, (appeared in my UA-cam feeds), of a father who discovered his son bullying a child with cancer, forcibly cut his hair. Honestly, he's good for him... Bullies need to be made to understand that with that attitude in life, they won't go anywhere...

And when he says to George don't defend him he knows right from wrong. At least one writer in Corrie is writing about a little thing called parenting, whoever wrote the Max and Hope storyline could learn.

it's not like he murdered or abused someone for goodness sake and he is still only a child himself that's an awful thing to say to your own child or to any child.
They're often afraid of becoming the victim of bullying themselves that's why many join in because they are glad it's not them...
these words from a parent can damage a child's mental health, as awful as bullying is, becoming one yourself towards your own child, doesn't fix the problem.
Sean is projecting what happened to him onto his son and blaming him for what others have sadly done to him and that's not good parenting... because it's not about how he feels,
It's about his son, it's about keeping calm and talking to your children and asking them why they want to bully others and how they would feel being bullied..
it's usually because the child is unhappy with themselves, so they lash out.

Bullies make me sick and shouldn't get a second chance, sorry should only be used from the bully only if they mean It but does cause psychological damage to the victim, you should feel safe going to school and have an education not be traumatised and scared but good how they are doing the storyline hope this stops bullying happening
