This is why kids don't talk. They say tell your parents, tell the teacher. They don't because nothing happens and then it gets worse. Gary and Maria did their best but schools need to do more, they need to be able to act more swiftly and not just keep saying they're taking it seriously but they're not
@AS-wj Teachers are only interested in one thing and one thing only right now. Pay rises.
Head Teachers cover things up to get good Ofsted reports, other Teachers and staff keep silent because they know is they break the silence they will get sacked etc In my experience the Teachers join in with the bullying and support the popular kids! Even the Educational psychologist cover things up!

I’m so sorry you went though that I’ve been bullied too so i know how hard it is
I was almost on the verge of getting bullied long ago, but thankfully, I was courageous enough to fight back. And lemme tell you, fighting back before you start getting bullied is absolutely helpful(only a solution if you actually can fight), because they try to stay far away from you especially when they are alone or less in number.

I'm in my late 20s and the teachers in my school were just as out of touch.
Exactly! When I was at school the staff did the same thing anti bullying weeks, policies and campaigns and it meant nothing. The teachers just gave them effectively a slap on the wrist and I still ended up with more black eyes by my bullies than I can count.

They need evidence in order to permanently exclude someone. If not then anyone could go lying to get people excluded
Bullying wasn't taken seriously enough for me at school beaten up 3 times in space 6 weeks, school had me hidden away for safety ended up moving schools the name calling with ridiculous whole school would call me names

I was so ashamed to be a teacher when I could see in a situation where bullying like this was being done and rightly so parents were distraught and the school just says- we have a bullying policy for this, leave it to us but nothing is ever done! Hands are tied as the rules the schools have to follow by law are so useless! The school is basically no help whatsoever! These kids who are being bullied often don’t tell anyone at home about the situation and now with all this social media and snap chats and wots app groups etc they can bully and rile up others to join in like Sean’s kid who I terrified to the point to protect himself he has followed the main guy mason like a sheep! He knows it’s so wrong and poor Liam is needing his friend now more than ever only for him to bully him just to save himself- the school sees it happening but they have no power apart from a chat! Kids know that’s all the teachers can do, they know if they put the fear into everyone by them understanding that it will be their turn for being in the other end of the horrific bullying and no one will eat them out as if the school cannot actually do anything apart from at best suspend then wait for more to happen , suspend again then it all happens yet again and maybe expulsion but then they step up the bullying , blaming the victim for them being kicked out! It’s a disgrace to leave schools so bloody powerless, poor kids like Liam( who is acting so well , as is the kid playing Mason) are at their wits end and often attempt with some succeeding to take their own life at such a young age! The world we live in broken, how can we get the power back to the parents and teachers to be able to nip these evil minded messed up kids from ‘ killing ‘ others for fun! Terrifying M😤🫣😡😳😩😱🤯🤬

I’m not saying that Liam shouldn’t have told anyone, he kinda knows what he is doing and if Gary and Maria find out, god knows what will happen to that poor kid if mason finds out that Liam dobbed him up again. Mason is dangerous and Liam needs to be safe.
