The way I do it it’s I show the client how much he wants to cut so I set the guideline across the front just so he’s ok with how short it will be then I do what your doing following the front guide line 🔥 I used to just listen to the clients request but sometimes 1/2 inch means 2 inch on their eyes

    • @Seancutshair

Yo Sean anyway you could do a clipper sanitation and disinfecting video like in between cuts what you do with your tools and then at the end of the day what you do to make sure they are clean? I think that could be very beneficial if you haven’t already!!!

    • @Seancutshair

If it’s too heavy after lining it up just take it back up vertically and there will be a triangle shape, take off the peak, that’s what makes it heavy

Just graduated barber school and got my license and I’ve done hundreds of haircuts already but I’m still not comfortable with basic shear work. I watch these videos and I think I can go out and do it and then I’m backwards still and find ways to wing it. Was thinking of taking the Josh OP course but honestly I think it might be too advanced for me at this stage. It’s not possible to watch a UA-cam video I haven’t already seen. Any advice on where to go from here?
