This moment was so good. First Ichigo makes an epic appearance, saves Rukia, easily beats some lieutenants, has an awesome fight with a captain, and reveals his bankai. His rapid growth throughout the show is crazy.
Not just any Lieutenant tho. TYBW arc spoilers, but that's Kishibe or whatever. He unlocked Banka, but he has never used it out of respect of Yamamoto.

Ichigo’s bankai is still one of the hypest moments I’ve ever seen in an anime. Before I started Bleach, all I’d heard was how much Bleach fell off, or how it was mid.
When I got to this fight it made me realize just how dumb it is to not watch something just because a lot of people bash it. If you think something’s interesting, give it a try and watch it even if people say it sucks.
Bleach is a legendary show, those who saying otherwise are just blind i guess

I'd agree, but Bleach feels like it fell off harder to me. The last two arcs just feel like a huge drop in quality. Some cool stuff did happen, but I don't think it makes up for the quality drop.

This is what I'm telling people what TYBW lacks is the athmospheric effect not just the reiatsu heaviness but the overall aesthetic of the setting. I can discount a few scenes like Unohana's Bankai, Squad Zero Weaver Girl Bankai, and Auswhalen.

Royd Lloyd twins are pretty much a divided Aoeniero, Old-man with a Glock of course Starrk, Bambi girls gives off Halibel's fracciones vibes, then we have Giselle the Sternritter's LGBT member (Choulhorn) plus her abilities gives of Szayelaporro, As Nodt is like a combined Ulquiorra and Nnoitra, Musculine and James being one is basically Lillynette and Starrk, that music guy looks kinda similar with Tousen, Haschwalt is a Quincy Gin, Lethal guy actually looks like Aizen.

Considering that Ichigo is from Shiba bloodline wich is one of the royal families of SS. Its no suprise that he got his Bankai, he mastered it in 5 days becouse he has insane latent power.

Fun trivia, in the Japanese release of the manga volume book that contained the chapter for Ichigo's Bankai, they chose to have the entire chapter colored. As far as I know, there are not many manga that did this.
It's a shame that every translated version of the manga books hasn't done the same, tho I can understand why, given how expensive it could be.
In Dragonball everybody wants to do the Kame hame ha pose.

I finally got a friend of mine to experience bleach. He didn't get into the beginning so it took forever for him to get this far. However, watching his reaction during this part was so fun. It was a like yours the smiles and shear enjoyment of this part had him up the wall.
Byuakua doesn’t know ichigo is from shiba clan and his father used to be captain squad 10. There used to be 5 noble clans as shiba used to be one of them.

I wonder what Yamamoto would have to say about that, considering Byukuya was saying Tensa Zangetsu _appeared_ to be small and fragile. I don't think there's any Bankai so weak appearing, and simultaneously so much stronger than its own shikai, than Zanka no Tachi, and Ryujin Jakka is already on the level of some Bankai.
This arc is definitely the best part of Bleach.

Despite what you've heard about SAO, you should totally watch it. Even if it's off the channel. Some episodes and seasons were better than others but as a whole, I think the show was so good. It's my favorite anime of all time. I can say I honestly cried like a baby several times.
I'm curious to how Nick will react to Ichigo's theme being cut off at bit later, it's a pretty powerful scene.

Dude keeps saying Ichigo is flying but no he isn't. He's using his reiatsu as platforms. Pretty much every being in Bleach can do this but it takes some practice. And when Ichigo goes Bankai cause it compresses his power that gives him a speed boost and with the foot holds it looks like flight. Once he gains his true power then he doesn't need to go Bankai for a speed boost but the hollowfied form helps out alot.
