Mad props to the two teachers who played the piano and the violin while they watched a movie.

On the piano he plays one of Mendelsohn's Songs without words. A composer who converted from Judaism to Christianity because of intolerance.

No, pero es poetico que haya dejado de subir pelis despues de un titulo como este.
Espero que este bien y ojala vuelva a subir peliculas y series, incluso le pagaria por ello.

Having had this on DVD for a number of years. It would be fantastic to see on the big screen. However I do not want to give anything away about the film itself. But I found the film to lack any tension considering what the film covers. Unlike films Abandoned and The Roundup. Would be interested to hear other people's thoughts.

5 years late. I believe the film doesn't need a tension of that kind. In its own language, it's delivers the story in a clever way

@@JosephM I agree in that I think Malle intended the film to be subtle; it shouldn't HAVE to be tense and shocking to evoke a reaction as the subject it covers is tense enough. However, I personally found The Roundup had more of an impact on me, and the tension used evoked a more emotional reaction.
