I haven’t looked at video as yet which means I haven’t tried your method but I’ve always wondered why this tech was lacking from the days of virtual backgrounds on WC to Zoom allowing you to add pics. This should be a built in feature by now.

There is a plug-in that does it directly in obs. But it’s kinda buggy.
Hi i just came across ur channel. You have a-lot of knowledge, but as a newb that i am im lost and need step by step instructions you have everything downloaded and know where to go, which is awesome for u, but for me i am completely lost. I have seen other videos where they take you directly to the screen and show you how to download where to click what to do step by step and how to find it incase we forget. So thats just my opinion. But awesome tutorial now i have to go look how to do this in an easier way . Have a happy day 😘🥰

This seems better then the other one you covered.
This one looks way more clean , and it uses less of your cpu! I installed the other one and couldn't get a single recording to work due to the constant stress to my cpu the other background removal plugin would give me, causing me to uninstall OBS completely! It bumped 6% to 50%! This one seems like it works a million times better! Thanks for making this video man. I appreciate it!

Michael, love your videos, I am a musician who would love to use OBS mac for livestreaming. I can't seem to find ways to do all the stuff you show, I am assuming its because you mainly use windows. Can you do a mac series?
Mac is not a good live streaming platform. I wish it was. I use macs for everything else. But a lot of this stuff works disappointingly bad on a Mac because of the way it renders.

@@MichaelFeyrerJr Michael, one thing: I looked it in this video, and it seems like the quality of the image you used to produce video content with this program was consideraly better than just handling it with OBS. In fact, i believe that, if my presumptions are right, you basically substituted in whole the green screen purchase bought option to a virtual, free green screen setting. The halo around you just miracoulously disappeared, after you set it on that said green screen. Am I right? Is the recording not only "crashyless", but better for this setting? You could make a video comment on that!

Well, that means I can't use it because I tend to be rather animated in one way or another. Lol.
But, no worries, a green screen backdrop is relatively cheap so that shouldn't be a problem in the future anyway. But I do appreciate the concept here. :D

It depends. You can set it to run when the machine does and if that’s the case it’s always on.

Michael hey there I was wondering if you can do a video or explain how to do two or more GoPros (different models) as cameras through obs. I have a newer 9 and a 4. Now if seen videos that require capture cards and via WiFi. The 9 works great but the 4 is the janky one and vis WiFi it’s all delay… is there a better way
GoPro has software that does it on newer ones right through the usb cable. I’m not sure how far back it goes.
@@MichaelFeyrerJr the one I want to “add” is a GoPro hero 4. I have a 9 that I use as a webcam already. Where do you find the “update” or what ever and does it take a special usb cable to do this? The one that come with camera is just a reg usb not a 3.0 it’s one that has a usb & composite yellow for sound. I wish I could send pics but dunno where you acces your info. My “equipment” as you say in your segment, is a newer gaming laptop so it should be significant I also do have a foscomax 4K ultra HD usb 3.0 video capture card/ hdmi 2.0b 3x1 switch and audio but can’t seem to get it to work??? Frustrating!!!!! I heaven plenty of power and storage, memory etc… As you say: “Am I doin somethin wrong!” Lol thansk for your time and advice from a big fan!

First of all thanks. It works like a charm. With propper lightning the result is exellent when not moving to much....but....It's seems to become laggy and reduces the fps drasticly. Maybe it's my PC but the specs are within the requirements for this software. Is there a solution for it ? Will a real green screen combined with good lightning and chroma key in OBS result in a better overall performance ? The results of normal recordings without snap camera in OBS are good with 1080p, 30fps. Thanks , this channel is awesome.
