Really enjoying Simon's explanations, but also love Toffel's comments and questions. To me this makes the vid way more enjoyable than just going through the top 5.
Paying attention to pioneer through watching the channel has made me realize how many of my older or overlooked cards are getting serious run in pioneer strictly because all I’ve been playing is cedh and edh 🤔I love learning about a new format and metas!
You weren't joking when you said the Mono-Green list gave up the sideboard for a Karn Wishboard. Last time i saw the list it was 7-8 cards, now it's 13/15.

@@CardmarketMagic I am really enjoying the current meta. I would love to see a gauntlet series where you either put the top two decks against other decks, or take the current top deck and run it against other decks.
Had a bad matchup against 4 of the top 5 tier decks, RB is at least good against monored and had a favorable matchups post sideboard against spirits and Phoenix.
@@Rafesco wait, you saying UW control is a bad matchup? I don't know how you are playing but I demolish mono red, especially post sideboard. RB can be a tougher matchup but still usually a win. UW is not an easy deck to play but it is by far very powerful. This is the issue, too many people pick it up and do badly because they don't know how to pilot it.
@@KMProtectionServices maybe you're an skilled player, but the reality is that monored is favored against UW, when I said 4 of the 5, the "favored matchup" is RB, the same can tell you, I use RB and I usually win against UW control, that doesn't mean that the matchup or the numbers are wrong.

@@Rafesco I haven't lost to any mono red deck yet and I played a lot. I do agree RB is a rough matchup and probably the worst one for UW though.
