Seeing Thoralf sit so much closer to the camera than Jamin is always pretty funny. I actually had the pleasure of meeting Thoralf Severin a couple weeks ago at YCS Dortmund. One thing that fans of the channel may not realize is that he’s 179 cm (5’ 10”) tall. It’s just that everyone else in the office is quite unreasonably large.
Lol having only seen one picture of him and the videos on this channel I feel like there's no way he's 5' 10" unless every other person on this channel is like 6'6"
Unsure when this was recorded, but the Gruul Stompy list does have a lot of the core cards that make up the Gruul Vehicles deck that has been putting up decent results since Regional Championship weekend. Skysovereign, Esika's Chariot, Stormseeker, and Akroan War alongside Embercleave and some creature lands like you mentioned are most of what you need to round out the deck.
yeah, most of the base of the deck is there, pretty much you just have to change the big threats for others, I would personally keep the couple questing beasts tho, those are always good
It's honestly insulting that the izzet phoenix deck doesn't have 4 phoenixes in it. Come on WOTC I shouldn't have to buy two precons just to have a playset of the namesake card. Stop acting like your arbitrarily rare cardboard is expensive for you to print.
@@williamw8590 you're right, if players are Wizards actual customers. But we're not. The main customer of Lizards of the Coast is card market speculators. They buy set and collectors boxes in way excess to those who play the cards.
Love the content and the channel. I am from US. I can say one of the best channels for pioneer as well as other formats. Love the live card play. There aren’t a whole lot of channels out there doing that these days. Keep up the great content guys. 👊
Just found your channel recently and have been watching tons of your content Thank you for all of the stuff you put out! I literally bought the Phoenix deck and was very excited to try it and was sad that I had to purchase 2 more phoenixes let alone actually add upgrades
My thoughts on upgrading the Dimir Control: When I saw the decklist I had a different direction I was thinking of taking the deck. Play off of the Shark Typhoon (and pick up another copy or two) as the possible wincon and toss in cards that can synergize with the graveyard aspect of the deck like Tolarian Terror (which can work well with Typhoon as well). This change may go in a more midrange direction but doesn't clash with the suggestions here. The only question is what to cut.

Do you have recommendations of which deck pair would work best as duel decks? (The video from last year went through how well the different precon decks were matched against each other.)
I am choosing to go down the thing in the ice road because honestly, I only have 3 copies of ledger shredder (3 copies from my 2 prerelease events, very lucky) and they are all very happy in 2 commander decks and my cube, and I do not want to spend money on more copies
gruul mid/vehicles is actually a real (tier 2) deck so a playset of skysovereign and chariots could the way to upgrade. also I don't what about you but a full playset of a big delve spell might be too much for a deck that doesn't actively fill the graveyard and especially when memory deluge nets more card while also digging deeper, control doesn't need the fast 2-mana effective draw spell because they have the time to spend like you said so a bigger draw spell that is more mana hungry should be better.

Sorry, but googling Thoralf, it looks just wrong. In all the picture, he is more or less a head smaller than everyone else. He is at most 160cm.

On top if this, the challenger decks were made before RG Atarka took off so it’s not really built around that sort of suite either.

The two phoenixes was the same for the original standard precon, so at least it’s nothing new.

Ja, es werden dir 30% abgezogen. Die kannst du komplett durch eine USA Steuererklärung (+itin) wegen des double tax treaty wiederbekommen.
