Zero Tolerance is a first-person shooter developed by Technopop and released on the Sega Genesis in 1994. The game features expansive 3D levels and large background graphics, impressive feats on the Genesis' hardware, and a video game plot involving hostile aliens that have invaded a space station and have to be eliminated.
See Dimon12321 (tasvideos.org/...) complete this shooter in record time while doing relatively little shooting. The character Tony Ramos was picked for the run because he runs faster and takes less damage than the other characters.
For being on the Genesis at this framerate, this game is a programming marvel
Well that was the biggest mistake of the SNES version: there was no shrunk screen to save on processing. Full size meant too many slowdowns and variable framerates. The devs said 'fuck it, just add a whole bunch of shit and shrink the screen to about half the size' and by god, they delivered.
i wanna see a gzdoom TC of this
I love how even in an alien base, you still have the elevator music.
Girl From Ipanema knows no borders.
Yes! Yes!! I absolutely loved this game as a kid, amazing to see Zero Tolerance TASed to hell!
This game was ahead of it's time. On better hardware it would have been a good first-person shooter.
It sure is a long walk to get to the breakroom in this building. Figures it would be in the basement and infested with insects. Management just doesn't care about us grunts.
I wonder what the trick for fast raycasters on the genesis is
I love how you can just run past everything
(0:23/0:24) - Even Tony Ramos can relate to my name.
Better than Doom SNES, thats fosho.
Awesome game, too bad people barely speak about it!
Самая страшная игра моего детства😌
Maj.T.Ramos is 47 now...
W. Ramos d.S. Jr. (me) is 14 now, and I'll be 15 in November 4th of 2022.
Great game, not crazy about that music though.
His weight is 69 pounds?
I imagine it's in kilograms...but then I thought this was gonna be an anti-drug game based on the name...
This was a mod for Doom. Loved the guns and everything
Looks nothing like Doom, I don't see the connection
You made that all the way up sir!
@@Beansman-gp3ws The rendering engine is very similar to Wolfenstein3D plus the skybox and elevators which are some new features from Doom. This is more like a re-engineered Wolfenstein3D.
