She has a beautiful voice but actually never hits the E6 that the original Sarah Brightman does on this song (not even the Eb6 that the other Nightwish chick Tarja hits). Its a D6 instead.
But c'mon, not everybody can be Sarah Brightman, isn't it true?
RESPECT!!, at the last minute as support act for Metallica, are called up and then play the support act with poppie songs instead of metal songs..... and still get so much respect and applause...SUPER...... Respect for Floor and the Metallica-Fans....
It helps that apparently James Hetfield is a big fan of hers.

Actually, his name is Henk Poort. But great footage man, especially the Tallica stuff!
Henk and Floor also did the Phantom last year, with Nightwish, at the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
And before that in Amsterdam during Floor's solo concert, and before that in the TV Show Beste Zangers 2019.
Not the Ziggo Dome. It's the Amsterdam Arena which is a bit bigger :-D

I know Floor only was in the pre program of metallica. That is always a difficult position as nobody comes for you, but for metallica. And also she had to come on short notice as well. So cudos to her for doing that. But the audience seems not very impressed.

That's probably what was happening. Such a shame as she deserves an enthusiastic audience.
Dutch audiences are known for talking through a performance...
neither are metallica's music as impressive as before, that's why I prefer to listen to symphonic metal more than thrash metal and a clear example is nightwish
Tough gig, it was very generous for Metallica to give Floor this opportunity.
But lets be honest, Floors solo stuff although beautiful, doesn't exactly amp up the audience for a trash metal concert. An odd mix.
Nightwish would have been more appropriate and awesome exposure for them, they would have earned a lot of new fans.
I'm not surprised by the audiences reaction.
I love Floor but she was never gonna win a Metallica crowd over by herself.
It's kind of a shame cause I've always thought that Nightwish should be playing stadiums worldwide not just in Europe. They just need the global exposure that something like touring with a band like Metallica would bring.
As usual, Floor is magnificent in her performance and Henk is such a pleasure to listen and watch perform. That being said I'm very confused by the 'setup'. Is is an open air stadium in the afternoon (looks like it ?). The bright daylight feels... odd and anticlimactic. I remember seeing Type O Negative in broad daylight on a scorching summer afternoon festival and it... didn't exactly worked ehhe

Floor looks like metal but sounds like pop. She has a great voice, but Metallica fans where probably waiting for a different kind of sound!

Are all Amsterdam concerts/crowds like this? Most were not even paying attention. The audience wasn't even paying attention. I love Floor and Nightwish! I feel the crowd was unappreciative.
