I had a sigmoidectomy and cancer was detected in the post surgery pathology testing. It was a dark time to get through and I can understand not wanting to interact with people outside the closest family and friends. Chemo is also very debilitating and some days people just want to sit and weep. It must be very hard on a mother with young children. The the POW is well advised to take her time and not respond to the demands of the public, no matter how well intentioned;

Nobody knows WHAT surgery Catherine had except it was abdominal. Even surgery for an appendectomy (and not all can be done by keyhole surgery I've discovered) leads to a week in hospital and another 6 before the person can drive, let alone return to work - my landlady, a week in hospital and still unable to drive but is now walking around albeit rather more slowly than usual, luckily her daughter just passed her driving test. And an appendectomy isn't considered ''serious or major'' surgery, routine surgery is apparently what they claim, but still involves cutting through the abdominal wall and all the problems with muscles etc that causes
She is also the mother of his much beloved grandchildren. She has supported his son, his mother, as well as him and Camilla unconditionally. She has earned the right to privacy, protection, and loyalty of the family. She always puts others ahead of herself; it is time for her to be a priority. Not just for herself, but for her family.

They checked for cancer (I'm a 10yr survivor) and I was clear. Having had surgery and now doing cancer protocols - the POW is seriously weakened and needs rest and rehabilitation to recover. Bless her, William and the children and her supportive family. She has an excellent chance of recovery.
Anyone with a similar experience knows how draining it is, day after day, but it does end, , she will be changed as a result. Give her time, plesse, to be herself again, God willing.

I'm 71, in Australia and have been using internet banking to pay bills, transfer funds for well over 10 years. Wouldn't companies, charities, people be using internet banking as a matter of course? My bank hasn't had cheques for quite some time.

That is most unlikely to happen. There will be a lot of raised eyebrows if Harry even receives an invitation to William's coronation and I'd guess that Meghan will be specifically excluded. I couldn't see Harry showing up, even if he were invited. The rage and jealousy in those two runs so deep that bowing - still less, kneeling to make the Oath of Allegiance - to a King William would reduce him to apoplexy. IMO he'd probably feign paraplegia rather than do that!

Princess Cathrine took on her role with honour dignity and strength with the kind and loving nature she had never complained just got on and always to the best of her ability now surly it is our time to show how much we care and appreciate all the hard work the kindness and the caring she has shown to give her the this time while she recovers to be with her family who clearly she so loves this is the best medicine we could do for Princess Cathrine and do well deserved

The British Royals are kind, well-mannered and respect the privacy of the Princess of Wales. Same for most all of the Courtiers. Harry and Meghan have supporters who seem to try hard to be negative about the Princess of Wales even if mildly so but some not so mildly so. Allegedly.
It is so sad that an event founded on such a worthy cause has all but been destroyed by Harry.

Cathrine will return to her duties when her Doctors and her health dictate. And not when the media or trolls dictate. Respect her wishes leave alone to heal physically and mentally from the shocking diagnosis. She will come back stronger and ease her way back to full strength.
