Really really effective storytelling about violation without being exploitative, I am super impressed and as a survivor, this hit hard. The victim-blaming, the way people treat your differently or like to act like nothing happened? Spot on.

I really love how much perspective this gives. Without it being preachy or cheesy.
Well it is kind of preachy, but it's a message some people still somehow can't get so it gets a pass.
I thought it was pretty heavy handed and not particularly subtle
I thought it was as subtle as Westerners can handle. Was also pushing the "ßex assault" theme & the "men are too proud to say it outright," which was the part that seemed a little woman-centric, & the role-switching was annoying. But since most Westerners like you love insulting things, acting ungrateful, or being anti-men, then it wasn't pushing the message hard enough. Should have actually been pushing it, especially the "women like nagging & victim-blaming men for almost anything" part. But the "bla bla bla pregnant & assault" thing was annoying, & the femininity thing all the men did was unnatural & too fake. If it was made outside the US, maybe it would have been perfect, not so "heavy-handed." The part where the roles switch & pregnancy, & "hosting" is treated like evil, babies like parasites, was annoying. Maybe it was written by a feminist & that's why it lacked quality.
Overall, anything American is genetically garbage. It's why the US is so ideological, insane, & preaching.
23:30; so much pregnancy bullshit
when the other victim was downplaying his experience and told him to stay quiet it sent so many flashbacks rushing into my head. its a conversation i know all too well. this was an amazing film. thank you.

The most terrifying part was at the end when you hear all the other alien creatures screaming. You know there’s no escape for these two…
Yeah but that just made me root for them even more
Like the ending of The Crazies or The Invitation. You feel good for about three seconds... lol
No other aliens screamed at the end
after she kills him you can hear some muted screams in the background right before it cuts out, it’s much easier to hear and pick up on with headphones.
@@YamiPoyo true, bc they were born on Earth…
great one! I love the way the pregnancy happens behind their neck, just show how much burden this whole thing on their shoulder.
Thays a awesome interpretation!
I feel like the pregnancy is more of a metaphor for trauma, that coupled with this makes a lot of sense

@@devinbright5792 How? It's a very literal interpretation of how this person's consent was violated. The womb on his shoulders as seen by the other person's egg on his shoulder is *very literally* a weight on their shoulders. It's akin to how HR Giger's Xenomorphs were intended to make men uncomfortable with the. A violation of one's body to create a very violent birthing.
This entire short is meant to flip the script and put men in the vulnerable state, to steal their masculinity from them.
What a twist! I was very pleased when the wife finally stood up for her husband. How horrible it must have been for so many men being assaulted. I don't know if women were also being implanted. The short film was indeed creative.
It's a play on real life but roles reversed
To be based on realism I think they couldn't have women being implanted as it would create a stigma on it the same as assault. With this race being similar to humans a man forcing this onto another man is going to make it less accepted just like male rape cases vs female. Still all very hot topics and great representation
No I think it was only the men. Its horrifying but then its something we women have had to deal with since the begining of humans.

*Now*
Police = 50% chance they don't even ask because of internet will cry "Victim-Blaming".
Victim = 50% chance they don't even get help because the internet brainwashed them into thinking they'll be judged for it.

This short is one of my favorites holy shit. The way she doesn’t listen to him being attacked, the religious aspect, the way she’s like “well maybe this could be a good thing for us”
To see everything gender swapped is truly incredible
You took the words right out of my mouth - plus the way she reacted when he said he wanted it removed
Idk if everything is swapped. I can’t imagine a man reacting to his wife being raped and forcefully impregnated. The reaction would probably be anger and sadness not celebration!
I too couldn't help thinking about how in society we have aliens who just go around impregnating women and the men just brushing it off.
Gender swapping totally opened my eyes.
Wait... you mean we don't have aliens? And that impregnating someone against their consent is a serious crime? And that by using exaggerations it just creates skeptics?
Yeah totally your husband will urge you to keep your r*pist child. He won't even believe you yeah sure. I assume you have never been around a father or a brother or a husband.
Except they really didn’t reverse the gender
Because they wrote the man’s role as if he was a woman
Integrate your agenda into the dominant religious beliefs and most anything will be accepted. Also loved flipping the script on the male/female birthing roles. This was quite good. finally one of these short films that tells a story from beginning to end.

One last thing. Huge respect for all the actors in this. Each one played their role to the t. Be it victim, predator, sell out, manipulator, or caught in the cross hairs, or compliant...each one owned every single emotion and that is no easy feat. I did a play years it was dark. Different than this but it was a three person and the other actress...not the actor...he was the other one....told me to purge because she started to see crossover between character and person. I took her advice and the thing is these things stay with you. So to be able to perform at this level and keep the integrity of the project intact that's just WOW. I need to take acting lessons from all of them but I can't. I can't do it. One hour of this acting and I would need to purge for a month...so again RESPECT. HUGE KUDOS. You actors are all lit! Or in some cases bang up...sorry couldn't help that pun. Just lit. Fantastic job!

@@consistencydiscipline I agree!
Putting it on the man’s back instead of his stomach….. the symbolism is BRILLIANT. A baby, wanted or unplanned, is a GROWTH inside of a REAL PERSON. We’ve gotten so ‘used to’ seeing a pregnant belly, that so many people don’t see it fit what it MEDICALLY IS at the end of the day…. something FEEDING OFF THE HOST. Switching the genders and the placement was brilliant. I’m not even finished with it I’m still watching as I type this…. I’m so impressed.
"feeding off the host"
This implies the human fetus is a parasite, it isn't.
A parasite is an organism that lives in or on another species, usually at the expense of the host.
A human fetus is not a foreign organism of a different species, it is formed by your body which evolved to create it and literally possess part of your DNA.
That is why people are "used to" seeing a pregnant belly, because that how the human body works, the only person who has a problem with it is you.
Regardless of whether you're for or against abortion and the circumstances involved.
Dehumanizing a human fetus by comparing it to a non human parasite, in this case a literal alien parasite, is not clever symbolism.
Its a lazy disingenuous argument and is no better than comparing it to a face hugger injecting a human with xenomorph eggs.
There are plenty of legitimate and reasonable arguments for abortion, so stop making absurd ones like this.
an organism that lives in or on an organism of another species (its host) and benefits by deriving nutrients at the other's expense.
That is the definition. No where does it say foreign organism. So yes fetuses are parasites. They take from the host while the host gets nothing. I've always said kids are parasites. They fit the definition
@@WickedKittie666 The definition literally says an organism that is in or on an organism of another species.
The key words there being ANOTHER SPECIES.
meaning a different species, IE not human, you even commented it yourself.
So no they are not classed as a parasite as they do not fit the required stipulation of being a different species to the host (foreign organism).
Do not quote a definition that blatantly disproves what you're asserting while acting as if you know what you're talking about, unless you're trying to imply a human fetus isn't human, which would be absurd.
Kek, these are how baby killers rationalize they’re murders
Wow hitting the zeitgeist on the head. So many ethical and moral issues and social commentary this deals with in such a little space of time
It's really not that deep.
That yelling, alien guy made after being hit, was actually terrifying and I'm not easily scared, but goddamn that actually made me really uncomfortable.... Good job 😁
So the multiple rapes didn't make you uncomfortable, but the attacker screaming did?

That noise what some of the demons in real life sounds like these screams
Btw you can hear same yelling after he is dead meaning it alerted others
It felt like a tribute to The Body Snatchers.
I must say this was an incredible film. It makes me feel even more sorry for the people who are raped every day. The scariest films are the real ones. I hope everyone who watched this film had the same experience I did.
I need more of this. I want sequels. I want more backstory. This was one of the best shorts I have ever seen. The acting was absolutely amazing; all of them. Oh wow. I can’t say enough good things.
What for, its a short story of abuse, theres nothing else to it
Watch black mirror. Way better.
This film was nothing short of amazing. The parallels to our own "rape" culture were stunning. The actors were great. Story was great. And the point was great. Well done.
There is no rape culture. There is a moral bankruptcy, mental illness, and promiscuity culture.
This film message:
- an unwanted pregnancy is like an alien parasite
- a women who wants an abortion is a Hoe(st), and she got the parasite from carelessly h0eing around.
Two difficult truths society has to grapple with.
Sounds like you need to spend a year in the middle east or Africa to get some perspective.
There's no rape culture though
This should be a feature length film. Awesome job. My wife calls the many videos I watch "stupid internet videos" but she was fascinated and love the allegory behind the story. This short deserves way more likes than it has.
wow what an original story refreshing to watch something new good job Justin and all involved
As a Mom (today is actually my kid's 20th bday) & as a person of strong belief, this was one of the scariest freaking things I have ever seen. It's a GREAT film, it's scarier than any movie about something "unworldly", because this is closer to reality than we want to admit. And that "injection" scene was symbolically a rape, seeing that from a man's viewpoint was terrifying in a different way. I don't have the vocabulary to describe all the parts I admire in this film, and I'm not one to ever shut up. 💯
happy late birthday
Happy belated to your son.
Truly excellent the way that this film puts men in the shoes of women. The men in this movie have to experience, as other comments have noted, rape, the prioritization of the child's over the life of the parent in abortion, pregnancy, lack of understanding from partners, and oppression (systemic and psychological), and the whole time it's wrapped up in quality horror and overall storytelling. If more men could see this film and be so cleverly forced to identify with what women have to go through, maybe we would have less patriarchy, misogyny, ignorance, and abuse in male-female gender relations.
What's worse than alien warfare is that they find a way to be deeply integrated into human society, especially political and religious groups.

This short film rises way high above the fray. Congratulations To Everyone!
I felt so bad for that poor man; that was an assault, a kind of rape. And this is exactly how many perpetrators behave. Attack, then act as if they have done nothing wrong as their victim attempts to get themselves together trying to process WHAT has just happened to them.
...and omg, when he put that knife in his back to try to get that thing out I almost stopped the vid. Not to mention when the wife rushed in and did what she did. This was really good but I don't want to ever imagine a world where this is happening, even to men with whom I have a love/hate relationship with. Lol.
I feel like this short pays homage to more than a few horror movies of the past. The ending had an Invasion of The Bodysnatchers ending feel to it although 2 totally different things. I also get a little Rosemary's Baby where the husband's career took off after he was ok to have his wife attacked by the Devil and have his baby. (Although in this case the wife came around towards the end and realized that this situation was all wrong.) Anyway. Awesome horror/sci fi short; actors & story pulls you right in from the very beginning & some very good believable acting + special effects.
The fact that the doctor immediately dismissed the possibility of a miscarriage and went straight to claiming the host did it to himself speaks volumes.
I make this argument all the time, that some men will never understand rape. Having something inside of you that you don’t want, only to leave something behind that will never be fully gone. That abusive person will always be apart of you, no matter what you do to clean yourself.
@@noisemarine4246That is not even remotely comparable in the slightest.
So how do waman that havnt been raped understand it any better?
Usual mysandric crap.
This isn't a gender issue, it's a cultural and religious issue and the people who don't "understand" are unfortunately on both sides of the gender aisle in spades.
@@King_WhiteWolf You’re partly right. There are victims of sexual abuse from either sex, male or female. They are all equally victims of this kind of abuse, regardless of their sex. However, is it not telling that the vast majority of victims of sexual abuse are women? Most men do not have to carry around that sense of paranoia and apprehension because the fact of the matter is that men are far less likely statistically to become victims of sexual abuse.
Even still, this is missing the point of the original comment. Men can’t become pregnant. Men don’t have to worry about needing to get an abortion or carrying to term something that was forced into them. That’s the point being made here. Men could never fully understand it, because men could never experience it.
Edit: But your point that people who don’t understand on both sides of the aisle still stands. And I agree entirely.

Very well made movie. It's hard to watch most of the characters' reactions, but the wife's most of all. She's the one he expected to be able to trust above anyone.
Most of these people seem eager for “promotions,” so I don’t understand why the boss even has to use force at all. It seems like he could find plenty of volunteers to willingly become hosts.
It seems like he has a certain fascination with both the hosts he chooses as well as the actual act of forcing his victims. It’s like… an alien kink I suppose.
He clearly got off from impregnating them against their will, and watching them carry the baby to term anyway
I think it's just like how some bosses in our world sexually assault or r*pe their subordinates when they can easily find other girls who are willing to be their playthings.. they do it just because they think they can. It's abuse of power.

This channel is hands-down one of the most fascinating I've seen on UA-cam. It gives people to tell short stories, some of which could easily be expanded into full fledged films or TV shows. On top of this these shorts address topics one doesn't think about very often in very creepy and fascinating ways:

I really need a sequel to this. I really want to dip into this universe more seriously ❤

It's estimated that more men that waman in us us raped.
But mysandrists like you could never consider that
There were sooo many little details and lines delivered rapid fire that are so spot on. Didn’t miss a mark. The location on the back of the neck for at least two reasons. It looks insanely uncomfortable. And also the position by which he’s taken advantage of, it’s all just horrific. It really painted a terrifying picture of something all too real today. My heart broke when he says it’s okay at the end because it seemed to ring in my ears like an endless sea of women’s voices now and throughout history. This needs to be seen by a lot of people.
@justinrodgers2388 men have on countless times been assaulted by men AND by waman.
Waman have assaulted children and made them fathers while still being children themselves.
But knuckle draggers like you would never care about that.
Damn... you guys took on a topic that is not easy to deal with, and you made an absolutely fantastic, and harrowing, film out of it.
The acting was top notch, the special effects great, the writing strong. Man, this film seriously provided an emotion response from me, which shows how intense and tense the film was.
This is thought provoking...
I love it everything ; the story , the symbolism and I’m already waiting for part 2
There aint gonna be part 2

The scene with the host who died because of medical staff who didn’t give a sh!t about him was a powerful scene. Hard to watch, but necessary.
That was one of the best short films I think I have ever seen. Sooooo good. Wish this was an actual movie. Would be so incredibly sick.
So glad the wife stood by her husband. I enjoyed this thriller!
This was just amazing, it took me a minute to realize it was about abortion and religion but once it clicked this hit me like a freight train, I believe the injecting scene might've been rape as well
it's not about that, it's about alien domination
@@thegreatreaper8840 Nah it's about stonks
@@thegreatreaper8840 alot of there are metaphors of something so i think they're right
Welcome to the 1980s where the tables were turned. Yes. That most certainly was about rape. Shut your mouth, don't say a word, here is your promotion.
@@thegreatreaper8840 it's about religion, abortion and rape, it's just used differently with roles reversed
This could EASILY be made into a full length movie. Just this short had more story and narrative than most blockbusters these days. I wish there was more stuff like this being drilled into our eyes with constant commercials than the family friendly garbage these days.
I found it so cathartic when the alien got beat with the bat at the end…
The scariest part of this is having to hang out with your boss and coworkers outside of work hours.
JK. Great short film.
I FREAKING LOVED IT!!! 5 FREAKING STARTS I LOVE YOU GUYS!! I love how she bashed his brains in and how she was the hero for her husband. I loved the concept that men have the baby in this universe.
Role reversal full of clichés on morals and dealing with shit people put up with, while society try to keep you in moral check. Cool concept portrayed well.
Shame the child had to die though.
It's like the male species are the ones "carrying" the babies. It's such a great twist
Males aren't a different species lol
You don't see any females of their species either, they might be an asexual race.
"You Knew" Dont you just love when people you trust set you up for trama without your permission than act like they did you a fav! Yeah people wonder why I dont go to work retreats.
This should really be its own movie. Fascinating and eerily relatable to anyone who’s been in any of the subjects covered.
This is one of (if not the) best shorts I've ever seem. It is terrifying, because it's real. It is smart, because it's symbolic. It is exciting and tragic. The actors are all amazing, and the visuals are great, too.
Interesting twist on workplace harrassment 🤔
Loved this one!! The way this meshed the 2nd coming with alien take over is really symbolic of how primitive our brains truly are. This was well written and the acting was very very good. I'd like to see a series for sure!
This movie was made right on time. It's finally time to make people understand that the right to abortion is vital.
And let's not talk about all of the other themes brought to the attention : rape, abuse of power, accomplices, the partner who doesn't take the abuse seriously... This short film is amazing
This film dehumanizes babies, they turn them into a metaphorical "parasite" of the patriarchy, it's so cringe. The truth is most ppl don't have an abortion bc they were raped, most got preggers bc they were h0eing around.
One 1pc of abortions are rape related.
Also this thing is a parasite. A human baby is not. The DNA of a baby is derived from the mother.
This story is distressing. The babies are alive we watch the one die in a bowl. They also look pretty human, and grow into pretty human like things, which isn't as bad as abortion because fetuses are human.
The religious aspect is bunkers because the whole impregnation processes would be deemed immoral, especially by the Catholic church which the short references.
Everything else was well done if a bit on the nose.
@@derpestarztshut.up.
There's no right to abortion. And it's not vital.
Please don't pretend like most of abortions come from rapes.
@@derpestarztThey are parasitic in their use of the human body. It's not their fault but it's in their (human fetuses) nature to take what they need without control from the other human (in this clip the "host"). I wouldn't be surprised that some would describe another being in their body, taking whatever it needs, as feeling parasitic either.
Besides if a person is allowed to deny others their organs for survival the rules should not be different denpending on the human in question.
Brilliant how the movie script and direction took us from the beggining to the and of story .
Wow. This is really more about pregnancy and abortion more than anything.
And rape
Yup. Also about sexual assault. And the value placed on fetuses over the lives and health of the women carrying the pregnancies. Even when women desire to be pregnant and give birth, health measures to preserve the life of the babies are often taken over preserving the lives of the mothers when complications arise.
@@milkandhoney84 this is so true and sad. This film touched on the reality that women face.
Actually false, medics are instructed to put the woman's life ahead of the baby if a choice has to be made
I get all of it but a baby in our reality isn't a parasite. I see why they made it a parasite though. To really get the points across. This is a really good piece of film to invoke a reaction in people that otherwise wouldn't have a reaction to these topics.
Props to the creators. this shit was extremely thought provoking, and a lil disturbing
This hit home for me.. I can totally relate to the/his situation. Talking from experience. I fought tooth and nail so that he (boss) wouldn't hurt, belittle, bully or violate another woman/employee again! He's due to be released in 2025... NO means NO!!!
I'm sorry your R@p1st will be out soon, they should have gotten life or the death penalty. I hope you're doing well and are recovering okay.

Caught the tail end of this on the channel and had to look it up because what I saw was highly disturbing but I had a feeling the story is promising. This is prime storytelling, good job to all involved. Being a new mom seeing stuff like this brings very new emotions but all of them are necessary ♥️
Ohhh, I really liked this one. Horror with a twist. And it reminded me that I often think that if men had the capability to become pregnant by force, reproductive rights issues would have been solved aged ago.
That's messed up tbh. Seeing it from the guys point of view is crazy but still as serious as it is for women, just good to see it from a different POV, definitely eye opening.
It's about religion
@@Milk-ck1wv it's about rape and abortion too
@@Bethany0420all priests are rapist pedos. Yes it’s about religion.
This was incredibly done, covering so many taboo subjects in a reverse way that forces people to see things in a new light/from the other side.
After rewatching it is strikes to me that humans seems to be second class citizen here. Just like in "They live" aliens take upper class role they bosses, doctors (while nurses is human). Only one thing is weird, if they came from space, where is their space tech?
This must be turned into a full length feature. Amazing!
How are humans still bred in this hellscape? Are the alien invaders unisexal? I enjoyed this. especially the ending where the female lead saves the day
Thanks for ruining the story ....
@@fiacradoyle7474 Do not read comments before watching it - I would suggest
@@fiacradoyle7474 the comment section is meant to discuss what we've seen. It's your own fault for not watching it first.
The “female lead saves the day” because she is the only person who cares enough about the male lead to help him. The whole point is that he was isolated. Who cares if she’s female? It doesn’t change the story in any way. If it were a female lead character who was the focus of the story, it would lambasted for having a “woke” female lead. If it were a same-sex couple, people would be complaining that having a gay character is “forced representation.” It doesn’t. Fucking. Matter.
I think they are, throughout the film we only see "male" aliens. I suspect that the species in parasitic and survives by attacking other species for their host.
Wow…absolutely fantastic! This one definitely needs a follow-up.
This indeed has a VERY satisfying ending.
I knew something was off when the nurse didn't practice proper needle safety.
Wow. This is was so well done. The nuances and the topics covered, but switched, were so good. This is easily one of my favourites.
Yeah, that second hit was super necessary. Rape is a crime, in whatever form it comes

Absolutely loved this! Bravo! I loved how they were able to touch on so many topics that effect so many without making just another torture/grape film. Kudos to all involved. Would love to see a feature length film of this. 🎉
Anything is acceptable when cloaked in religion.
Awesome short!
Or ideology. The little crazy sister of religion.
Yes, humans have used religion for centuries to justify their evil deeds. That just shows how pathetic mankind really is.
