No it isn't. I know it's your money, your budget, but I am so tired of half of whiskey tubers normalizing secondary pricing because it is slightly below full secondary. "Oh, it's only $200 instead of $250? Take my money so I can make content!"
Unpopular opinion: I have a Penelope Estate Single Barrel 10year and it came in last place for everyone at our annual X-Mas family blind. It went against Still Austin Tangaer, Still Austin Blue Corn, Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit CN-E, 1792 Single Barrel SP, and Penelope Valencia… needless to say the Estate was extremely underwhelming to all of us.
I bought the weller 1.75L from total wine. They had like 20 sitting out with a limit to one. I wanted the buffalo trace 1.75 but they sold out. I’m glad I got weller bc I like weller way more. After 2 weeks my weller 1.75 is super low. Need another one.
I have heard many channels say that the Rebecca Creek DO Spanish Oak is no longer available outside of the distillery. Not sure if that is a fact or not.
