Can't find Rebecca Creek Double Spanish Oak anywhere near Dallas-Ft Worth. Maybe you should have bought a second. That was great store you were at. I have been everywhere between DFW, Houston, Austin and DFW and that store you were at was truly excellent.

Makers mark picks made me into a huge makers fan. I think a local makers pick is still one of my top bottles

Abasolo heritage corn..... please try a small 50ml bottle. I really like it, quite a bit, but very much a "terroir" style whiskey and does not compete with a $40 bourbon or rye. Thirteenth Colony or Abasolso? No contest!

The High West Chardonnay finish is really dry and I wasn’t a fan. The Cabernet finish however is delicious.

I think you should have bought two of those rebecca creek. So what I understand it was a one and done, it was a good accident and the distillery does not plan to make more. GOt this from a person I know that worked at the distillery. Unless they have recently changed that. They just bottled the last two barrels they had. BOth where a lower proof. It is a fun unique pour. cheers

Those Rebecca Creek DBSO are basically a unicorn at this point in TX whiskey. There is a whole story behind it, it was a mistake and one they are thinking about trying to replicate. You should have definitely got two! They were all over my area and now they are no more!
