Client: Mr.Chandrakant & Dr.Pallavi Chaudhari
Location : Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India.
Area: 5BHK bungalow spanning to 6200 sq. ft.
Completion Year: 2021
A Bungalow with large spaces and open feel was a short brief that we got from the client who is a renowned industrialist & wife is an ayurvedic doctor. Trying to understand their requirement that would suit their life style was the key path we followed while developing the design. A region in India with extreme climates made us delve deeper into the fact of keeping the openings on east and west controlled.
The plot for the bungalow was in the heart of the town with low lying structures around it. Considering the requirement, we decided to go in for vertical features with free flowing curve line to enhance the building façade. Pulling up the private areas to 1st and 2nd floor and keeping the common use areas on ground floor. The bungalow sprawls well in the defined way.
Adding a water features in form of a “swimming pool” on west side that would add to cooler breeze in the evening was considered and implemented. The pool also becomes the point of attraction for the family members and a cozy area for social interaction.
The Bungalow comprises of- Informal living a Formal Living dining area, Family room large kitchen, large utility, 4 main bedrooms, 3 other rooms in form of servant’s room, home office meditation room, formal entrance room. 3 attached terraces. And the top terrace. The double height living keeps the hot air at bay throughout the year adding to a beautiful volume to the house. The sky light in the bedroom, the landscaped sit out in dining terrace are some of the favorite spaces of the client.
The interior design is kept plush with clean lines. The theme maintains a lighter color palate in the common areas and take a slight modification in the bedrooms. The surrounding area of the bungalow has landscape developed keeping in mind the external design feature of the bungalow.
All together the bungalow is a happy reflection of the clients who just love, the time they spend together with family at home, unwind & also love to host get togethers at their luxurious, elegant, spacious & comfortable home.
