Name : “Aviraj Bungalow”
Location : Kubera Bahar, Pashan, Pune
Area: 4BHK bungalow spanning to 4100 sq. ft.
Completion: 2020
A Luxury dream Bungalow design which comprises of 4 bedroom, large dining and kitchen and some interesting spill over spaces for more interaction is what is Designed by Creative Ventures. Excellent use of spaces; keeping in mind the client’s requirement and the family ethos was the key thread to weave this design fabric.
The plot for the bungalow was at a very good location. It was a corner plot with roads on two sides. The third side of the plot was abutting the Swimming pool of the society. The Design synergies evolved keeping in mind the usable space clusters that would suit well in site condition and would suffice the clients need as well. The common spaces like, Living, dining, kitchen and interactive sit outs were planned at the lower level. The lower level also had the parent’s room for easier commute for them.
The upper level comprises of three bedrooms; the master bedroom the son’s room and the daughter’s room. They are bound by a large lobby space outside them; which becomes a pause point before entering the bedrooms. The enclosed spaces, the rooms and the way the openings were planned were in context with the surroundings. There was a large terrace which was planned as a seating area for master bedroom which overlooks a large tree outside the corner location of the plot.
The same terrace is also accessible from the son’s room as well. This becomes an unwinding sit out for the family at their leisure hours. The GRC screen which is planned and designed in vertical manner for this terrace adds to an interesting feature of the house. The sun plays the game of light and shadow creating interesting patterns on the floor and the façade through this ‘Jaali’. We have tried to take care of sustainability with the Architectural design features, strategic openings which help in reducing heat and also by incorporating solar panels for water and for power generation as well.
This house is our custom solution for all the needs of Makarand and Deepali Phalak. They were looking for luxury, comfort, with a dash of simplicity. And as a design solution here is the outcome - “Aviraj Bungalow.”
