- Should you offer free trials for your social media marketing agency?! A lot of people think this is a sure-fire way to get a client... Today I'll be sharing my thoughts around offering free trials, and what I would suggest you do for your SMMA.

Honestly I think starting out, you should offer free trials just to get some initial case studies and testimonials. Its either that, or get really good at sales right from the get go. For me personally, it took me a while to get my first paid client (didnt want to give free trials) ended up closing client for over $1000/month as my first client. I just got my second client a few days ago

You make some great points. I think it depends on the service. I think free trials may work if you have to pay in other ways like for example amazon. I know for me for example I tried the amazon prime 6-month free trial and I am hooked on it because of shorter delivery time, watch movies, shows, etc. Also another example along time ago I was interested in joining a gym they had a two week free trial than afterwards it would be $30 a month and that worked for me. Anyways I know that social media marketing is a bit different.
Totally agree with you here. There's plenty of potential clients out there that need your services and are willing to pay for it. Chasing and begging the cheap ones that don't want to pay for results just isn't worth our time

I think guys that after coronavirus crisis ends, even offline firms will look for the alternatives to save itself from bankruptcy and the only alternative is digital marketing.

Maven I’ve been doing dropshipping and I can’t get any sales!! Luckily I bought an SMMA course like last year so if I fail with dropshipping I’ll go with SMMA
@@Darkzombie1ful I think dropshipping is difficult during these times, a lot of postal offices shut down receiving packages from specific countries, so it varies country to country.
Maven that’s true , I tried paying influencers and I actually got traffic and add carts but no one purchase anything! Btw I was selling 2 types of face mask and a smart bracelets

What would you recommend me buying(it would be my first camera), and i am thinking between g7x II, rx100 III , rx100 VII (2,5x price of g7x) or just straight to full frame a7 II. I like to offer my clients a "2 week trial" where essentially I sign them on as I would any client, they pay full price and I say to them after the trial, were you happy with the results? And every single time they have said yes. From that point on its business as usual because I've already onboarded them as any other client and charging full price.
Totally Agree why would you lower your self worth you got this . if even giving them discounted price they will feel some type of way if once your provide your normal pricing. BELIEVE IN YOUR SELF WORTH.

Regarding loss aversion. How would one go about raising prices down the line? Say I give a lower price in the beginning and I want to raise it 1.5 - 2X the price eventually, how would you approach that?
