A former classmate from high school who lives in the UK brought me 8 nitrosurge cans and the device. I drank 2 of them and stopped because i wanted to keep the rest for "special occasions". Then i found out about the pin trick on the usual drought cans with the widget inside and tried it yesterday. It worked like a charm: the foam head was thick and the bear creamy. In my opinion the black stuff it's better if you pour ot using the surge device...maybe it's all in my head, but that's what i recon: the pour is more controlled, the head has a better form and overall tastes and looks better. But, at the end of the day...to each their own. Good demonstration, sir! Slainte!
If it makes you enjoy it more and makes it taste better, then that's all that matters. After all, it's the main reason we all drink beer and if a gadget helps improve it, then why not enjoy it. 🍻👍🏻
As a 59 year old man when I'm screwing in my workshop I often think I need some new 'JIS' - I thought I was alone with my JIS issue, so thanks for reaching out. I'll give Amazon a try and maybe fix my JIS screwing problem also... Nice Guinness Hack!
Thanks for watching. Yeah, I ended up buying some Sealey ones. Not the best, but OK for the price. I find that the tips of JIS drivers don't last that well if used regularly. They are a bit soft, just like the bloody screws! 👍🏻
I saw a guy called Daragh reviewing it and showing how to make it more affordable. As an Irish woman in England, I still go bk to my Irishmen to know the know lol. They just get it 😂🤷🏼♀️. Cheers for the video.
I thought that might be appreciated and some good lifestyle advice. Once mastered, this new skill can be used in other areas of your life, like boil/pluke bursting, reducing inflated balloon sizes to save space and helping women get pregnant with your home aerated condoms. 👍🏻
Not much savings when you look at price per ML and I ain’t being funny …. I’m not serving Guinness to my guests with a pin in hand and waiting for gas to escape. 😂
Yeah, you are saving 8p per ml, but when buying over 2000ml, then it's better in your pocket than in theirs. Although, there are worse things you could have in your hand when serving drinks to visitors! 🫣
It's just soooo much easier to use a tin opener at the opposite end of the lid opening point a gentle slight turn on the opener device and bobs yer uncle 😅
You might be absolutely right. But my tin opener is utter crap and nothing that involves that tool of the devil is ever easy. I would rather use my teeth on the bloody can than involve my tin opener. But it is a good suggestion and hopefully people see your post and use your advice. Thanks for the heads up! 👍🏻
@@thebarmenreviews lol all you do is place the tin opener on the can gentle press and keep it there till all gas is gone the pop the can open attach the device and pore.
@@gazzat7309 That sounds easy enough, but that is the one thing my bloody tin opener doesn't do, is puncture the bloody tin. I got this idea from an Irish guy that did a video. So, I tried it and filmed it. The original video link is in the description. 👍🏻
It is, but you would then miss out on the varied body odours emitted by the local darts team! Plus the wife is crap company, and aggressive when drunk!
No, they have a different widget system that releases the gas slowly and not instantly the can is opened. That's why you need to depressurise the Draught cans so they release their gas slower than normal to emulate the Surge cans.
@@thebarmenreviews Damn, fair enough. I'm on mushrooms rn so I don't know what's real or not. I love your vids though man . NWA. The walls are closing in..... please send help

@@thebarmenreviewsso true🤣 i use a compass needle to pierce any part of the top of the can which works really well because you have more control when letting out the gas slowly😉
I know and I agree that these things shouldn't be required for a normal beer. But if your product is based on gimmicks, then there is no surprise that they are promoting more gimmicks. Even the gullible need saving now and again!
LOL. They also say that the customers are always right, and that the best youtube videos are short, clear and too the point. It shouldn't take 14 mins to learn how to put a pin a can which is a 5-10 second job for slow people. Thanks for showing us though.@@thebarmenreviews
Your not supposed to push the button for the second part of the pour as that's the equivalent of pushing the pump forward in the pub
Got it, I was doing it wrong. Thanks for correcting me.
No problem at all. Interestingly though, is there much difference@@thebarmenreviews
Wrong
I just paid 8.80 in Ireland at circle k. Its absolutely delicious. I am on my 4th beer. Now moving onto my bottle of Jameson. Life is good😊
You can't beat a good session. Enjoy sir and have a great evening.

Great hack. Using the surger device on a punctured can definitely improves the taste on stout from a widget can. 👍
Cheers, but it wasn't my idea. I saw an Irish guy doing it when it first came out in Ireland. I'm just passing it on. Thanks for watching.
Jesus 16 minutes with 30 seconds of relevance. Ggrrrrr
Yup, it's a bugger. 👍🏻

It will probably taste exactly the same! 🫤👍🏻

Quite right, I got this from an Irishman as well. Great minds think alike. 👍🏻
Nice co-ordination, shirt goes great with the colour of the wall.
Thanks very much for noticing. I do try to go that extra mile by painting walls to match my clothes.
Fell asleep after a minute
Glad you got something out of it. Thanks for sharing your experience. 👍🏻
Just saying it to myself, so boring

Pin seems alot easier
@@supermario1982171 There a many different ways to receive the same result. I find the map pin easier.

😂😂 well ripped aff 568 is a full pint in any measures including the head 😂
It's all about the money now in the beer industry. Nevermind that the beer in the can is weak and flavourless. 🫣
Love it!
Yeah, a good hack from them clever Irish guys.
Everything about that pour was a fail anyway 😂. Sorry, just harmless banter
It's Guinness, not the best stout in the world and to most people it won't matter.
are the surge cans just old fashioned satndard cans with no internal mechanism

Doesn’t make sense. The draught guiness can pours perfectly
Silly
Some people want their Irish stout as agitated as themselves! No for me personally.
Since when was Guy Ritchie Scottish?
The same day Nicola Sturgeon became an honest and well balanced individual.
Does this guy get paid by the hour?
Yes I do and it's wonderful. Good things come to those who wait! 🙂

Why thank you my good sir. Good things come to those who wait, that doesn't include Guinness, as that's bland piss-water! 🙂
