FYI, I’m a clayer and I give you a little tip, you need to condition your clay so it won’t crack, conditioning means play with it with your hands till is soft and playable
That is so cool. I decided last year that I was going to make my kids and grandkids tags for their presents, that are also Christmas ornaments. So yes, you know where my mind went to. Thank you for sharing.
DAS is much easier to use and if you can catch it at hobby lobby at half or 40% off, its well worth it. I got this from dollar tree as well and it really is wet and cracks easy
Another thing you could use is silicone stuff made for making cakes. There are textured ones that have wood grain, lace, etc. I’m going to play around with my clay and try everything! Thank you for the video, it gives me hope I won’t completely screen it up!
The tags came out so cute. I see people say they don’t like the dollar tree air clay but I do. I made stems for pumpkins and gingerbread men for my Christmas wreath, sealed them, it’s March and it’s still hanging on my door and they’re in perfectly fine shape. I’m in PA and my Christmas decorations were buried in the snow. But this week it’s supposed to be warm. Yay So now I can finally melt.
I had not done clay art in ages. Last time I did was in elementary school. Baby figurine & a mushroom. I don't remember if it was air dry clay. It came in a clear medium package & the clay was a bit damp. I also did another clay art using the grey clay found at the bottom of the water on the beach. Again, it was a long time ago & can't remember the location of the beach because it was summer camp (Camp Chedwyn) in Ontario near Burks' Falls. I only been to the camp for 3 summers. Right now, I don't know if the camp or the beach still exist because the last time I've been there was back in the 80s. Thank for helping bringing back memories & tfs the video. Take care.
I would never of thought of using clay for tags, brilliant idea, the tags will be cute to add to mason jars, and I am a big fan of rustic decor, and so if anyone asks where I am, I will be busy making tags. 😁
These would make PERFECT plant tags! What do you think about maybe glueing a cut down dowel or craft stick to the back and then you could stick them in the dirt..? 🤷🏾♀️
Before your video the air dry clay wasn't even an interest I had. But WOW did you ever change my mind!!! Definitely am going to try this, loved all the different shapes. Thank you.
Sue Wolfe here- Great ideas, Kelly! I picked some of this clay up as soon as I saw it in my DT. I just needed some ideas what to do with it. I bet you could even put a little pearl or rhinestones down in there to dress it up. I have 2 granddaughters who love sparkle!!
I have been trying to figure out a way to use that clay since I first saw it in my local Dollar tree. Thank you for the video! God bless!
A great idea! I just bought a pkg. a couple or so weeks ago why I can’t remember but now have a reason. Thanks
Is it a pain that white after a guy's?This is a solution. It's my name is ryan

What a great idea. KHow about a gingerbread house?
YES!! TY!
We don't have this at my Dollar Tree, but cute idea!!
Dollar General has a set of Letter Stamps they are a bit larger than that but you could use them for initials or for a garland maybe.
Awesome Idea I love it. Thank you for sharing. I used that clay to make little magnets, by using the dollar tree silicone pineapple mold.
Hey you are so cheerful. You switch on the sunshine.

These would make PERFECT plant tags! What do you think about maybe glueing a cut down dowel or craft stick to the back and then you could stick them in the dirt..? 🤷🏾♀️
Since they are air dry wouldn't getting wet by watering or rain destroy them without some kinda sealer?
These are so cute. Great ideas 👏👏👏
I didn't see it yet at my stores but will be on lookout. I'll add to yarn and cookbook lookout. Thanks for heads-up and ideas.
Before your video the air dry clay wasn't even an interest I had. But WOW did you ever change my mind!!! Definitely am going to try this, loved all the different shapes. Thank you.

Marvelous! I just bought air dry clay, last week! I will make some, to put on jars! ☕☕☕

🤎that idea

Still wish our many Dollar Tree stores carried the same stuff. Most are way too small to carry much. So, you get a smidge of some things.
