  • Buses Trains and Trams filmed around Nottingham in October 2019. Filming begins at Nottingham Railway station and low and behold the arrival of Class 221104 in the new EMR colours as well as a pair of Colas Class 37's.
Following the arrival and introduction of the new fleet of Yellow Bio Gases for yellow line 68 / 69 a trip out to Bulwell and Snape Wood was heavily covered to show these vehicles working outside of the City.
The annual Goose Fair is covered with trams and evening Park & Ride Buses provided by Nottingham City Transport and a pool of their silver spare buses for these services.
More areas covered are mainly with the arrival of Bio Gas buses both in Strelley and the terminus of The Lime Line at Killisick and Arnold.
The next scenes are at the City Centre including what has now annually become Old Market Scare tram stop and the city centre with an impulsive move out to Gedling terminus at night too!
The final display comes from Stagecoach's new Gold service X1 to Chesterfield in the final week of October with scenes taken at Victoria Bus Station.

East Midlands trains is now East Midlands Railway? I still don't understand the point of switching train companies every what? Five Years? Just let whatever company that has control run as long as it's profitable.

Do the staff still ask you, do you have a ticket, you need a ticket to get on the platform at the train station?? Whenever I used to go back to visit my friends and work colleges at the pumpkin or lace, the inspectors always asked me before I left Notts in 2006. I always said to them what ticket do you need to go see my friends at the cafe and come back out the exit as I'm not getting a train, always got puzzled looks rofl.

Not usually. The best place is the public right of way on the footbridge. They can stand on the bottom of the stairs cbecking tickets but they are a good bunch. I work with them at times when I am based at Nottingham.
