Loved the looks! I cant help but wonder however if going to the bathroom feels like a chore when you layer things over the jumpsuit? anyway that's always my struggle with layering and jumpsuits
It definitely adds an extra step. But my other jumpsuit from Matter (their classic jumpsuit) has a cool design which allows you to actually go to the bathroom without needing to take the top part off!
Love this video. It's always fun and inspiring to see one piece styled a bunch of ways. I think the maxi robe look was actually my favorite. I don't tend to mix patterns much, but I love this look on you, and it makes me want to experiment with my own wardrobe more.
It's funny, my and your styles could not be further apart, and yet I am still learning techniques that I can apply. You're very clever. Thank you for helping me move toward a more ethical wardrobe.
They are also very cute but I love the knotted T-shirt on top with the belt as well as the wrap top on “backwards”. You have inspired me to purchase a top like this!
Love this lookbook so much. I have a black jumpsuit with the same silhouette and you have given me so many ideas to style it with items I already have in my closet. I love how you mix your neutrals with colours. How are the alice and whistle rain boots? Do they fit true to size?
Thanks for this! I have a fairly similar jumpsuit I don't wear very often..hopefully I can implement some of these looks! I loved the gray long sleeve over it as well as the wrap top.
Great video, I love finding ways to style a small amount of clothes in different ways and you did it so well! My favourite would be the look with the wrap top backwards, but I do like most of these outfits ☺️
Thanks for this lovely video! I really enjoyed it and it *was* light and fun--thanks for that! I needed it today. I really loved all of the looks--it's hard to choose one. But I really liked seeing you pair it with different belts and then tuck the shirts into the belts. I NEVER think to do that and it's brilliant! I was also glad to see an Unbelt in action as I was considering getting one at some point (I love using belts with tunics, dresses, etc. I also liked the wrap top with it--so chic! The one where you added the heels with the "backward" wrap top was so super chic! You're right! And I'm just totally digging your lovely kimono in general. I can definitely see wearing a tee underneath, too--I'd like that a lot, personally. I'm a petite pear shaped woman--I'm going to look into that jumpsuit from matter as it seems really great, but what do you think about something like that for a petite (very small on top) pear shaped woman? I also didn't know about those rubber boots you mentioned--I will have to look into them. I've been wanting some lower profile rain boots/wet weather shoes for a while and the ones you had on were quite cute! Thanks again for a great video!
Thanks! I'm so glad you enjoyed it! They do have a petite size. I'm 5'3" and got the "size 1" though because I wanted it a little longer and looser. Also the boots are great! However they do run small so I sized up like they recommend. :)
You created lots of great looks! My favorites were the wrap top and the wine cardigan both over the jumpsuit and the t-shirt underneath. I sew most of my clothes so I really have to consider a new silhouette/style before I make the effort to make a new pattern. There is a similar jumpsuit called the Amy by Closet Core Patterns that would be quite similar to yours. It's something to consider. Thanks for all the ideas!
This is awesome. I have a similar jumpsuit but I always wear it the same way so I'm going to try some of these looks. I love the black versatile top and heels and the cardigan with the hat 💜
your ideas are both creative and look super comfortable too !! jumpsuits are versatile and suit minimal wardrobes very well. Thanks for this delightful video ! :-)
Favorite was definitely the style with the flowy rob. Really sad to hear about Matter :( I've always loved their stuff but it's been too expensive for me and now they're sold out of almost everything.
We love us some versatility, you're very creative as usual with the options! And the jumpsuit is really beautiful, it's unfortunate that they're shutting down :/ I was also wondering: you mentioned playing or doing things in your garden with the jumpsuit, I would never dare to do that with such a quality piece haha, am I the only one? I use my more worn out/demoded clothes for working in de garden or chilling at home, so that I don't wear out my quality pieces too quickly :)
It depends what I'm doing! If it's kneeling in the dirt, digging, weeding, etc. I'll wear something older that I don't mind getting dirty but if I'm just out watering or picking things I'll wear it :)
@@MyGreenCloset that makes sense! :) Is there a part of your capsule dedicated to such kind of clothes or are they outside your capsule (for example, for other chores like painting I imagine you don't use the clothes of your capsule)?
I absolutely LOVE that deep red cardigan you have, it is gorgeous both in general and with that outfit!!! You are so good at this too, can you be my personal stylist?! Lol 😄
the first one - isn't essentially wearign two tops on top of each other impractical? It is obviously meant as a summery outfit for warm weather, unless you have very not cold sensitive arms, and having that extra layer of the top of the jumpsuit can't be exactly nice when you want to wear an airy top and trousers for that reason. While it looks good from far, I can't imagine it is actually nice and practical to wear it like that in someone's day to day life on a hot summer day. I really like matching sets for this reason tbh, that can be 'faux jumpsuits' but also be worn apart to wear the pants for example with that top instead of layering the top over the jumpsuit's top.
Is anyone else thinking about the fact that when you put a shirt on OVER a jumpsuit that you have to take your whole shirt off and than the jumpsuit off whenever you have to use the restroom? Are there ways to get around that problem?
Thank you for sharing im just done for watching this video thank you for this idea to wear the jumpsuit now i know the ways to match it. #marielifestyletv
Couldn’t pick just one favourite, they were all cute!!!
Wow! Especially the last one!
Loved that one as well!
Where did you get the black versatile blouse again? 🙂

Loved the cuffed, t- shirt, & long robe looks.

I hope you love it as much as I do! 😊
This was great! Im opting for jumpsuits during maternity and they are so comfy but now i see they are easy to dress up or down, thanks!!!
I liked the tip to tuck the shirt into a belt to make a shorter shirt. I am petite and this tip is a game changer. Thanks!
It's a great styling trick!

No, the classic style fits small and a little narrow - I went up a full size like they recommend.
Thanks for this! I have a fairly similar jumpsuit I don't wear very often..hopefully I can implement some of these looks! I loved the gray long sleeve over it as well as the wrap top.
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@MyGreenCloset That's very good to know re: the boots! Thanks as always for your excellent sustainable suggestions!
Every look was cute on you, Erin, and I am inspired by your creativity. The reversed black top is gorgeous and so stylish. Well done!

That fabric is gorgeous! Such as shame they are closing down, I hope they come back one day!
Me too :(
Thank you so much for creating this video! I love the maxi cover up and square neck like reversed wrap the most!
I have a very similar jumpsuit and I am in AWE of all your style suggestions. Will definitely try these soon! Thank you!
Love this! One piece many ways videos are the best 💕
This is awesome. I have a similar jumpsuit but I always wear it the same way so I'm going to try some of these looks. I love the black versatile top and heels and the cardigan with the hat 💜
AMAZING!!!!!! I have a jumpsuit that I love but never wear but now I sooooo e the black wrap blouse/sweater!
Oh I love all of them
I didn't watch this vid before because I don't own one- but I just thrifted a jumpsuit so now I'm taking notes haha.
So many great and fun ideas. Thank you!
These are all such great options! Thanks for the ideas 👍🙏
Love all them.
your ideas are both creative and look super comfortable too !! jumpsuits are versatile and suit minimal wardrobes very well. Thanks for this delightful video ! :-)
I have a very similar jumpsuit but in black and definitely picked up some more ideas of how to wear it so thanks! Also love your hair!
Thanks!
Super ideas - can’t choose a favorite. All are good
Favorite was definitely the style with the flowy rob.
Really sad to hear about Matter :( I've always loved their stuff but it's been too expensive for me and now they're sold out of almost everything.
They are still fulfilling all orders previously placed with their artisans, so some pieces might still go back in stock in the next couple months!
Love this jumpsuit on you, Erin, so many cute looks! :)
Thank you!

Yeah I have a couple old t-shirts, sweats, and an old sweatshirt I use for painting and really dirty things.
@@MyGreenCloset makes sense :) although a splatter of paint might give a new angle to some piece of clothing hehe ;)
So helpful!!!

Lovely
So u garden in your nice jumpsuit??!
If I'm watering or picking things, I wont wear it if I'm weeding or kneeling in the dirt.
