This game revived the DYNASTY
It’s true. This was Brady’s greatest overall season in my opinion.

Belichick proving once again why he’s the best coach of all time. Those formations/ineligible receiver plays were pure genius. Truly shows just how much of an extra level the Patriots prepare for.
People always try to break Tom Brady’s career into multiple HOF resume careers. But I always feel like his career should be broken into 2, the second starting with the second half of this game. He just went on a string of incredible postseason comebacks that no other qb could pull off. Finally won another superbowl this year too he truly leveled up this game(more importantly the second half). Tom took over, they ran the ball 5 times the second half; 2 brady scrambles and 3 Brady kneel downs!!! Truly incredible put the game in his hands and never looked back. One of my fav games ever
Technically he has 4 HOF careers.. 2001>2006 - 2007>2012 - 2013>2018 - 2019>2022
@@Sqoun ehh im not oppose to saying that, you could technically probly squeeze out 4(!) HOF careers (which is incredible) but im more talking about just two dominate all time ones, that would be where my split is and as odd as it is…yes it’d be mid game😂😂

Fact. As a Ravens fan, some of our highs and lows in the playoffs have been against the Patriots. Cundiff's FG miss, our revenge run the next year to win the Title, this game. We've had some great matchups
I think people just forget. It's been a while. Once Suggs and Flacco left, that was pretty much the end of it. Rivalries outside of a division are usually temporary, depending on which players are there. You never know. This decade, the Browns and Jets might form a playoff rivalry.

How about the NFL was so upset and felt this was so against the spirit of the game they made it illegal the following year. And I quote “it was clearly used in a way to gain a competitive edge when the league is based on fair competition, it clearly goes against the spirit of the game”

Probably my favorite playoff game because I wanted 2014 BAD and of all the Dynasty hurdles and rivals (Steelers, Manning Colts, Ravens), that was legit the hardest and toughest stretch of old school hard knocks unrelenting wars for supremacy of the AFC. Brady and his boys vs Ray Lewis, Suggs, Reed, and theirs.
One of the greater eras of Conference Rivalry in NFL history.
Will never forget Brady diving over the line for a hard-fought and absolutely needed touchdown and Ray Lewis folded him in half as he came down.
Thought Tom was done. Can’t believe he walked away from that.

I made the trip to see this game and it was a long bus ride back to Baltimore
14:47 lets not forget that at the time, joe flacco had not thrown an interception in the last so many games. he was red hot and i mean red hot going into that game. he was vintage joe flacco, the joe flacco you see going to war against pitsburgh. this dude was on fire and man he looked more lethal than brady. but when it mattered the most brady said you want to play my game then lets play. brady went down and scored at the last few minutes and tossed him the ball saying go ahead, now you do it. the rest is history. incredible display of composure from brady, and incredible display of fire from joe flacco. something mystical about those two men when they play in the playoffs. theyre so different but yet so the same, stone cold killers. i like to think brady just got the best of him when his fire went out. i mean cmon, you go up by 14 twice and now youre down by 4? it aint even a matter of clutch its like damn, you just stomped on me. but i guess that goes to show the difference between psycho tom, and a man who simply has a strong fire inside. psycho tom will go to 10th overtime and then some, getting better and better, joe flacco although stone cold and lethal in the playoffs, is still a human in the end.tom brady showed the limits of joe flacco by constantly hounding on his lead all game. youre up by 14? how about tied. up 14 again? how about i take the lead. brady slowly all game beat away at the soul of joe flacco until he desperately gave it all up. brady doesnt just win he kills his opponents, makes them fall to them as supreme. joe flacco youre a mad man for fighting that long against that monster. brady...youre one scary mf. lets gooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That was also a knockout!! Conclusion to the ravens v Patriots rivalry. The Ravens unleashed their greatest version but the Patriots split the atom and threw the book at them. That was the final time the Ravens dared to enter. With this win the dynasty was revived.
The Ravens were hella old lmao. Quite impressive they made it so far but happy they are back in the hunt with a franchise QB.
@pcelis19 probably wont be rivals again it was alot of things that built this into a rivalry suggs vs brady , the ravens being the original browns franchise that fired belichick, ray lewis and ed reed , the 2009 game where they blew NE out then the 2011 game where NE won on the missed field goal

The ravens are one of the only teams that can consistently go into fox burrow and win.

Injuries have plagued the Ravens from 2011-2016. People forget in our Super Bowl run in 2012 that so many key players were out during the regular season. We got healthy just in time for the playoffs and won the Title.
The patriots were without gronk in 2012. So quit your whining.
