- MOOSYLVANIA recently gave Avatar the opportunity to produce a video that would accompany print materials for a Bombay Sapphire Gin campaign. Our challenge was to create a look and feel that was identical to the photography used in print.

This is one of the best gins I have tried. But I still like the one at Trader Joes I just don't remember the name of it. Its also a blue bottle.

Pouring sugar into "hot" water is not how simple syrup is made. It should be simmered for 5 mins over medium heat to breakdown the sugar properly, then allowed to cool to room temp. The result is a clear, more palatable syrup, not the cloudy stuff in this video.
The cloudiness is from the lemon juice. C'mon I'm 15 and noticed that 😆
I add the suger when the water is on a low simmer, squeeze the lemon juice in and whisk it in slowly, and you end up with a nice syrup that you can save an use for other drinks, depending on the amount you make.

1337CaptainHadock yea maybe if you’re rich. Seagrams is cheap gin but I still don’t consider it bottom shelf. More like mid bottom. Bombay is middle shelf booze. It’s very good gin my opinion. I like it better then some of the upper mid shelf gins like tanqueray.

You can also use lime or both lemon and lime. Almost like an all natural sprite mixed with gin. Of course fresh lime and lemon is no comparing to sprite.

This is my Favorite way to drink Gin....sometimes i switch the Club soda with Sprite and dont use simple sirup.....also nice

I like adding a tsp of olive juice on top for the salty kick.
Probably the best advertising around. However, the end product is a less than spectacular gin. Rather bland in my opinion. I will choose Brokers, Boodles, Beefeater, Bulldog any day for my martinis.
jslasher1 the version that isn’t Safire has more of that pine flavor typical in gin. Safire doesn’t taste like gin on purpose
