Thank u from India ❤ it’s not easy to explain our faith as it’s confusing when it comes to god & godess and their relationship among themselves without prior knowledge with almost all contains sub stories.
It's not easy to explain old books. In India, we study tales of Ramayan from grade 5 or even earlier. But when it comes to Greek mythological stories, I find it difficult to study because of being unfamiliar to the stories, names, gods, etc. I watched your other videos and was able to understand to a great extent. It was really helpful. Keep going! ^_^ 👍
It’s interesting, as an American growing up I was fascinated by Greek myths growing up so reading them now comes so easy, same with the Bible, but getting into the Ramayana has been more difficult. It’s the opposite of your experience haha, but that’s just cause I wasn’t raised on it like you were!
They are all the same god different perspective so imagine looking at a point in a ball from 145 degrees then from 225 degrees and you had different language then overtime the art and images change based on what the artist who created the image looks like.
I'm trying to understand this story and the symbolism. This was the best story telling so far. Do you know other useful links which can explain the symbolism?
A very informative video about the Ramayana. I watched this to have a background story on Ramayana for me to understand the book Kaikeyi by Vaishnavi Patel. 😊
Jai Shri Ram I had a practice of chanting Shri Ram Raksha Strotra daily. However once a thought came to me “I can only do some general chanting like take Raam Naam etc.I need not chant Shri Ram Raksha Strotra specifically” Hence I discontinued it. After a month I got a dream in which I was chanting Shri Ram Raksha Strotra with a relative sitting besides me. In the dream I was chanting Shri Ram Raksha Stotra and during the chanting (In the dream) , forgot the last few lines of the strotra and my relative mentioned that I have become forgetful. I then remembered the lines and in the phase between dream and waking state , as I was rising from the bed, I completed the last few lines of the strotra. The experience was so intense that I resumed the unbroken daily chanting of Shri Ram Raksha Strotra Thanks
This was absolutely excellent. I truly believe this has happened... And its the course of those that understand the true purpose of existence... We are Legion, One of Many.
Sir tq so much ....n it will b better if some important lines....are...type....for the better understanding.....like their names n places...name......👍
Love it lord lavas home is my forfarthes home . It is known to purest indians that the ramayana is 2000 year prior to the bhagvagita which the West claims at 5000bc Well made video
It is difficult to explain ramayana in 10 minutes. Because it is a long story. When we explain it in 10 minutes definitely it will miss lote of scenes. Bot you explain it as very well.🙏🙏🙏
Wow thank you so much. This is the story of my farthers. Im born in the west. Im a reminant of ww2 service personnel ive had it hard wondering who i am. I was born and i am Christian. I see this a lot as and my companions did to we just watched amd starred in silence and i always wondered ,,i been raised in the wrong location as in the east id of been told about such odd things and there meaning.
Hanuman and the apes were not from Lanka. Rama and Lakshmana helped them reclaim their kingdom from a usurper named Vali first. They then accompanied Rama to Lanka to help him save Sita. 😊
The poem by Val Miki which is the subject of the episode was written in 500 BC. You are confusing the historical events with the written poem. The same way The Trojan war happened in 12000 B.C but Homer composed the Iliad in 7th century B.C.
A lot of Near Eastern cultures were influenced by north-east African culture, but the Near East again the whole area is a mixing pot of ideas - one only has to look at how neighbouring peoples exchanged/borrowed ideas on mathematics...
According to the book, there were monkeys in the sky. The warrior that killed the boy with an arrow was an idiot. He should know not to shoot without seeing the target, especially if he thought it was an elephant. It looks like a book for children
Thank you for your comment. In regards to the flying monkeys, Although the word Vanara has come to mean "monkey" over the years and the Vanaras are depicted as monkeys in the popular art, their exact identity is not clear. Unlike other exotic creatures such as the Rakshasas (shape shifting demons), the Vanaras do not have a precursor in the Vedic literature. The Ramayana presents them as humans with reference to their speech, clothing, habitations, funerals, weddings, consecrations etc. It also describes their monkey-like characteristics such as their leaping, hair, fur and a tail. Some suggest that though the poet of the Ramayana may have known that vanaras were actually forest-dwelling people, he may portrayed them as real monkeys with supernatural powers and many of them as amsas (portions) of the gods to make the epic more "fantastic". In regards to the warrior who killed the son of a Brahman by mistake, you are refering to King Dasaratha father of Rama who was cursed by the father of that boy to die in grief and far away from his son which happened when Rama was in exile.
