For me, the best Castlevania stage ever. the music just adds to the adrenaline and especially when using whip on those hook things and swinging back forth to the beat of the ending percussion gives you a fantastic feeling of satisfaction!
Nice job, but I think that I can offer some advice. For that guy at 1:25, you don't have to be worried about keeping your distance, because if you duck, he will swing his sword over your head, and you will be perfectly fine. For the boss, when you are on the platform on the very left, and you swing your whip diagonaly up-right, you can swing 2 times in a row before you have go right.
Yeah, it's a pretty brutal level. Although I hav to say I love this level even though it is hard and the Reaper's not in it. A little dissapointed by that, as he's usually in the clock tower.

As a new castelvania player, I will wholeheartedly admit I got brutalized by the gears, even with save states. But the music tho...

Yes. I love the music and the look of this stage too. Definate gothic feel to it.
Yeah, it's definately paying homage to a lot of the other games as well, as you can tell by a lot of the levels.
Totally my fav Castlevania game!

Yeah, his walk makes him look like he's got spinal problems. Still the best game though!

i like this game alot but i still like dracula x a little more.
Dracula X is too hard and is a butchered port of Rondo of Blood which is a superior game. This still beats both though!
