Coming into this I already knew SFNE was going to be #1 with those 2 *COMA BOOMERS!!!* the best roller coasters in the world. And what is even better is they’re in the same park. *AND EVEN BETTER* THEY ARE RIGHT NEXT TO EACH OTHER 🥳
whats ironic about this is that chris made a video of his real holy grail of 1-2 coaster punches... and Six Flags New England also came out top with obviously Wicked Cyclone and Superman the Ride....so you could say in chris's mind they are very top heavy and bottom heavy
Great video, it makes me proud to be Dutch, knowing that not only every awesome duo of an SLC+boomerang comes from us, but also that the OG SLC resides in Walibi Holland. It's sad that we get new trains for it, hopefully they don't have those aweful vest restraints. Everybody hates vest restraints! But nonetheless, I remember taking my first ride on it... I was super impressed by the looks, we waited for over an hour and a half, and after riding it, I felt in my head my life was never going to be the same. I think it's what they call acquired brain injury...
Number one had to be SFNE. No one beats their incredible Vekoma collection. I'm glad they fixed their Giant Inverted Boomerang from it's inferior orginal status but I still lament the loss of the excellent original restraints on their SLC.
Walibi Belgium has 4 Vekomas lol. I've been on two. The wooden coasters got a rough brake run but the break run on the Calamity Mine smashes you forward in the front row

Based on these reviews KI really bungled getting rid of Vortex and Firehawk. Who needs another GigaChad? Does it slam your head against 1980s nostalgia called over the shoulder restraints? No! Can you really trust a ride whose foundations aren't slowly sinking into the ground? Pffttt...hardly. Leaning Coaster of Vortex, you shall be missed.
This is the most accurate video you have ever made. In all honesty, I have enjoyed all of the slc and boomerang that I've been on, and can't wait to ride my next slc (t3 at Kentucky kingdom)
Man, here's hoping my home park of Six Flags St. Louis can make this list soon. We nabbed a boomerang from Texas a few years back, and have a Vekoma sit-down looper in Ninja, so I feel like we're on the right track. We could do it right with an SLC in the front to replace that Batman clone. We could be next level for sure.

God I hate that when I went to Canada’s wonderland, their boomerang was my favourite ride in the park... To be fair I was 11, but I was an 11 year old who PUT A BOOMERANG OVER A GIGA- Thankfully, even as the most GP possible, I didn't really like flight deck and I HATED time warp.
I know I'm like a year late, but I grew up on the Vekomas at Morey's Piers in Wildwood, NJ. Sea Serpent and the Great Nor'Easter. As a kid growing up in the 80s I was in awe of Sea Serpent. By the 90s I'd moved on to the coasters atGreat Adventure, but these days I get major nostalgia for where my love of coasters started.
I was lucky to be there at Great America in 2001 for the Giant Inverted Boomerang Deja Vu. Look ma, I can touch the track. The addition of the cat walk helped to make a beautiful coaster even beautifuller. All Vekoma installations came with a free sign. "Closed due to technical difficulties". One the bright side, the ride did have a nice vibrant paint job.
Oh man! How did you not include both Parque de la Costa in Argentina and Fantasilandia in Chile to make a perfect 13 for the list? Sure, the duo's of those two parks don't have the burden of carrying the extra weight of the horrid B&M's and Intamins that others on the list had to carry, but these are fine representatives of their parks! 😂 - Gary
Lol this was great Tho I've rode Wind Adventures' Dynamic Duo and they aren't shaky or bang your head at all. They're actually very smooth, which is sad. At least they have a Dynamic Duo (-cough- Cedar Point -cough-) but rip the woodie that was pleasantly rough. Guess Vortex'll have to do for now, at least M&M or BNM or whatever had a good start...
I live in Michigan. Michigan's Adventure could be so much better if they'd get their Boomerang. There must be some other park that can be shut down so we could get it. It already has Geauga Lakes epic SLC. They have plenty of room for it if they just tear down Shivering Timbers.
