In the show, he was going to compete with an Olympic weightlifting champion (210KG) to tear up the nameplate behind the opponent. Although he lost in the end, he worked hard and did not give up in the process. It is admirable.

Zhou Shen's voice is pure, feather light and crystal clear. I think what sets him apart from other male singers is that his high notes are not forced. It just comes naturally to him. When others hits those incredible high ranges we subconsciously know that it's a man singing but when Zhou Shen sings, if we didn't know that it was him singing, it could be easily mistaken for a soprano. When you listen to him sing you don't hear the "fakeness" that we'll hear when other male singers sing at a certain range. I don't even need to explain his breath-y voice..... that is just as soft as a snow flake. His voice has that magical quality that the other singers seems to lack. There are thousands and thousands of amazing male singers with similar or extreme vocal range but not all of them have this pure and downright ethereal qualities of Zhou Shen.

I used to love watching Zhou Shen's beautiful face - he lhad a soft complexion, pinkish and naturally creamy and soft. He had authenic Chinese features, beautiful eyes, a dainty smallish but ridged nose that allowed...light to show the naturally fine articulation and proportionate features - as he looked in the Dalabenga video. Today, Zhou Shen looks like any mono whitened plastic face. The cute ridge of his nose looks raised like a promontory, conspicuous and covering up the gentle curves and contours of a very beautiful and original face that was elfin, angelic, lucid and luminous. Look as t the earlier screenshots, Dalabenga and Monsters. Today Zhou Shen looks more Korean than Chinese. Just so glad Zhou Shen's Voice is out of reach of plastik surgery... Its purity, sophistication, artistic and musical range takes one out of this world.
It's his make-up. There is a couple of vids on UA-cam showing him having it done. It's a lot to do with lighting and camera angles and stuff. It's how his stylist likes to have him.
