He covered some Japanese and Hindi songs where he brought delights and surprise to respective native speakers.
I think the views of the song was lower than others of his songs due to the quality of the song: it was just too NORMAL among his songs although it is very beautiful. Since the song was published, he published so many high quality songs and live performances. It is so easy to distract his fans for his other new works. For example, his latest live stage performance got 180k views in less than 2 days. It is very hard for his fans to catch up with his paces.
Agree with you that around the time this song was released, Zhou Shen has many great live performances (for Chinese New Year) and released some other new songs, this might lead to the fact that views were not as great as was expected. Nonetheless, I like this song a lot and from one of the replies above, knew that this song was very popular in China and Asia.
