The first video I watched from you was the how to draw sonic tutorial, all the way back when I was an elementary schooler. Now I'm an artist and have a major in graphic design. I'm really happy that your channel is still active to this day ❤
I'm proud of you, random internet stranger 🥰
Same (studying graphic design/ film) !!!!!!
I remember the first videos I watched as a kid probably 8 or 9 years old when I just got into drawing and now I’m a senior in highschool selling my art and it all started with comics and copying the drawings I saw from the cartoonblock this channel taught me so much always have to check in on this channel once in a while much love and it’s great to see videos still coming out❤
I've seen your videos when maybe I was 11 now am 26 great to see you keep going strong as I remember
The first one I saw was the superhero chest movie
Thanks for the support over the years. I'm glad to see that you're still enjoying art. Do you draw or sketch?
@@cartoonblock I used to but stopped to focus on my career as a medical professional now I don't have the energy nor the desire I just enjoy your style of drawing it's so punchy and cool
@@3li3bbas95 Thanks for still showing the love
Awesome video, I been watching you since I was 5/6 years old. I’m now 22. Keep it up❤❤
Thanks for the love and support over the years 😊
Masterpiece.
Awww Thanks🙂
Always dropping knowledge
Thanks 😊
i love this fresh , so naturaly!
Thanks 😊
This makes me want to try watercolor. It looks so fun and the way you explain that it doesn't have to be exact is stress free. I tend to pick and add and take away from my drawings. But hearing this again is making me want to try thanks!!!!!!
Thanks for your feedback. Yes, you can definitely be loose & stress-free. Honestly, using the watercolors is very relaxing and calming for me. Lemme know if you try it out
Sorry this is late…. Awesome Dude
Thanks for the love ❤
Love it. Thank you.
Thanks 😊
Thanks 👍🏻
🙂
Peter and miles I like them both and I was young I would have to say Peter
Agreed, I like both Peter & Miles too
Always happy to see you upload bro, beautiful work as always
Glad you enjoy it! Thx for the love ❤️
Good stuff Evan I do some water color myself and also acrylic inks you should try that out also I use them doing traditional Japanese illustrations
Thanks. Yes, the Posca white pen is an acrylic marker; it's great for adding the white highlights
Hey, Mr. Burse! I literally love your drawing so much! ❤️
Can you teach me how to draw Jimmy from "Jimmy Two-Shoes"?
Thanks. I’ll have to look up Jimmy
@@cartoonblock No problem, Mr Burse! 😉❤️
just did a ball point pen have a great day
This Uniball Signo is great because the watercolors don’t smear the ink
I will try that😊
Love your style
Thanks 🙂
LOVE YOUR VIDEOS CAN YOU PLEASE DRAW GRELL SUTCLIFF FROM BLACK BUTLER!
Thanks 😊
I’ll check out that character
Perfect
Thanks🙂
I'm proud of you, we need more Black men in animation, comics and video games, it is disappointing that even American animated shows about Afro-American characters are drawn by East Asians instead of Black artists.
Thanks for watching 😊
Great vid! Love your color choices in this. Glad to see you went with purple instead of black for the shadows. By the way, are you using Bristol? Just a suggestion: The paper is the most important thing when using watercolor. Go 100% cotton and the difference will amaze you. Wood pulp paper (especially the thinner stuff) pills like crazy and makes blending really difficult. Cotton paper is more expensive, but it allows the pigments to really do some spectacular stuff. Can’t wait to see what you do next!
Thanks James. I'm still learning about colors & shadows. For the paper, I use Stillman & Birn Sketchbook [link in bio]. It's 270 GSM...and handled the water very well. I've never used cotton paper before. Is there a particular brand you recommend?
Also, I'm looking at getting a bigger brush to cover a large area. That #5 round brush was too small for the job.
I checked the link and I apologize, that seems to be some great paper! The most highly recommended paper is Arches, but I’ve never used it because it’s too pricey for my budget. If you’re looking for a good brush, try a synthetic blend squirrel hair brush. The bristles hold a great amount of water and pigment for the size, and they can hold a point very well over time. You might want to try a 12 for that size painting. I personally use a 4, 6, and a 12 for most of my paintings.
Hi sir, I am from India a big fan of your drawings. I would like to request you to draw a normal fight scene. If you will draw it, then it will be nice for me. Plsssssssssssssssss 🙏🙏😅
Sir can you draw thor's face just like spidey
Just a heads up - some of your links don't work...
How do you get a hi-res version. Like what do you use?
