If they would pay 500-750 for a unit that would be Great But they don't want you to have money to pay a Bill or do anything with, but they try to make people feel Bad for not 🚫 giving Blood so (they) can make a profit off your Blood
Yea. Whenever a trauma patient comes into ER we ALL check 3 credit bureaus & bank accounts before giving blood. Not a chance in US. You need blood you get blood. At least that is my experience in 6 different hospitals, 3 different states. No hospital committee like socialist Canada to find out if your life is worth saving.
I've known for years now. I was watching crime show in USA. Girl murdered. They found evidence,, but needed her DNA. She'd donated recently. They hunted her donation down. It was in Europe. I was dumb founded. I thought to myself if americans knew their donations sold, at profit to other countries, it'd blow their mind.
Dollar stores, Payday Loan business, Liquor stores & Blood Donation facilities are all purposefully located in economically distressed communities. Human exploitation is big business, sad & disturbing
This is so gross. People should be able to donate blood under their terms and not need to bring a lawyer to decipher the double speak. I think people donate blood imagining that they are saving lives of those who have suffered massive blood loss, not lining the pocket of some billionaire who makes therapies that are completely financially out of reach for most people.
We're in the Last Days as prophesied in the Bible.. Get ready, as I walk very closely with the Lord & the Great Tribulation is VERY soon to begin. God is NO longer showing mercy to our wickedness. Jesus is coming, prepare ❤

A friend of mine was donating his blood motivated by a brother he lost. His health began to decline and caused iron deficiency which took over a teae to recover he became chronically ill. Thankfully he listened to me and stopped.
I am sure there are negative health effects to donating blood frequently. Most people in the world are deficient in vitamins and minerals from inadequate diets. Then they go ahead and give away their blood which contains all these nutrients. On a long-term basis, the body will see deficiency symptoms.

@@Amcc38383 Never give blood unless it's for saving a family member. It's the same as sucking moisture out of a tree.... sure the tree will survive, but it's harmful.
My father used to always say that he stopped giving blood because the people who needed it (even himself, if he had an operation) would still have to pay an exorbitant amount. That is rather how it is in the US; a rather bizarre form of "charity."
More proof that basic needs like life saving blood transfusions must stay public and not cost patients out of pocket. In Canada, blood donation is free on both ends: you don't get money for donating and you don't pay to receive a transfusion

It's clearly not just the USA. The plasma companies preying on US citizens are Swiss and Australian companies as they laid out in the documentary when they visited Cleveland. Taking every opportunity to bash your own country just makes you look foolish. Especially when our country is not the only one taking advantage of it's citizens, and big pharma corruption is the ultimate problem across the globe.
The documentary on the blood and plasma trade is a stark revelation of a world driven by profit and desperation. It's a mix of empathy for those in need and concern for the exploitation. Thanks for shedding light on this critical issue that affects the vulnerable.
I donated for almost a decade until I figured out who gets my plasma and how much the donation center makes. I fainted once. The Most High has provided since I stopped!!!
I’ve been working in blood banking for 10 years. This is nothing new at all. I remember finding out that a bag of plasma I separated from red blood cells would sell for about 20k. Then when you get into specific blood typing it only shoots the price up and up. All off of a free donation. It’s wild.
@@annieeiloveyou2052 definitely, it’s all a scam. CSL Plasma is the only comp y to try and be a little on the up and up and atleast pay people. Every other blood banking business in the United States takes plasma and even more so platelets but they all do so for free. The most you’ll get is a gift card and a shirt if you’re lucky.

Yea I spoke with someone on the phone recently and told since I would be a new donor I could make a certain amount of money but when I got there it was not the same amount, no where near. When I said nevermind they tried guilt tripping me. I walked out anyway.
You should produce a video on how COVID effected blood donation and sale. Did the sale of blood decrease? Did the donations result in contamination? Did COVID make blood unfit for donations? Any chance that the vampires will go out-of-business?
As a recipient of plasma during covid, I was under the impression that blood from someone who had covid would help protect my immunity. It's as though you had covid and now had immunity from it. Btw...thank you for your generosity.
If someone has the virus that blood is better it's rich in antibodies. Mine has lots per my last check up. I don't donate I don't think it's something God wants us to do. To someone I know maybe but not knowing where it goes is a problem.
I worked in hospital and clinic laboratories, and in plasma center. I also donated. I have a giant scar on my arm to remind me. My adverse reactions of long term plasma donation... Low protein levels, dehydration, vitamin deficiencies, lowered immunity to name a few. Take a hint from Erin Brockovich, you can't fight big pharma by a documentary... collect your data from clients and use the law. The excuse for no cameras is to protect the privacy of the donors.

@@Dasani_water_drinkeris donating plasma a medical service tho? Seems like you're providing them with a product. That's not actually medicine, unless you're receiving the blood of course
Thank you for this video. I never even suspected something like this. It is really heartbreaking how they are exploiting the poor. Their day of judgement is coming.
Vampires. This hits close to home. After losing alot of blood and coming dangerously close to needing a transfusion, I left the er. It took God, good food, rest and 2 weeks to restore the blood I lost. I'm still not 100% but working on it. What must "donating" blood so often be doing to the bodies of these folks? And it looks like the blood supply may not be as safe as many assume. Thanks for making this.
Sorry that you went through that. Eat a good amount of high quality, real red meat, together with vitamin C supplements and foods, then your body can use that to make more blood. Also you need a lot of extra sleep, because your bone marrow that makes new blood, works at night when you are sleeping. And it's smart that you prayed too while going through this. God can heal things.
Who really knows after your dead I wouldn't allow it but in reality no one really knows as crooked as the world is I wouldn't be surprised if they sell things under radar
I took the organ donation "yes" off my drivers license years and years ago. Because I knew about organ harvesting practices in hospitals. Yes. In the US!!
My best friend of 30 years needed blood to survive. She had a rare blood type and there was a regular donor from Alaska who was a match. She always wanted to somehow thank him for months of her life.
Anyone who has a 0- blood type can give it's blood to any other type of blood type, that's why it's called a "universal blood type" in the world. But can only receive the blood from the same 0- type. I'm sure there are enough people (7% of the population) that have type 0- blood, they are mostly European descent.
This documentary is amazing. Thank you. I have suspected a lot of the information for years and you have, in my humble opinion, proven my suspicions. You may be interested to know that during the pandemic CSL Plasma Center, at least in Medford, Oregon, remained open. I saw this to be true with my own eyes pretty much daily. People couldn't go eat in a restaurant but they could go donate? You may want to look into this.
The same happens with circumcision removed skin. It's sad and an industry. Circumcision is just useless male genital mutilation and bad for the man's sensitivity but UN has problems only with FGM. Weird.
Look into how child organs go from a few k to around 500k a piece just a couple weeks after birth. And how that's the reason for late term abortions. Or the child trade system, no one talks about the missing Maui 2500 kids since hamas on handgliders.
Let's just say they know exactly where to place these plasma clinics. Also they aren't the "healthiest " people donating. It's not about health it's business.
Yes, there was another documentary which showed all the locations of these clinics in the US. A lot of them were also on the southern border with Mexico. The question is, should it go back to free donation like in Europe? So only those who actually want to do it, will donate. But then what about the people who need this money? (since their govt ain't helping them anyway)
I used to donate often but I realized that my mental health took a dive after for a few days each time. The mind is very sensitive to the sudden loss of water and protein. The body has to work harder while the body rejuvenates. This affects some people more then others. For me I wondered why life was suddenly unbearable. This was not one of the side effects they warned me about.
My uncle used to donate regularly and strangely he bagan gaining weight rapidly he somehow associated this due to him donating so he stopped. He soon was back to his normal weight. He again began donating but not as often and he confirmed his suspicions. He again began to gain weight when he donated. Eventually he stopped because of this. Maybe 🤔 donating blood affects people in different ways?
I remember a friend of mine was pressured at her college to give blood. They would call at least or twice a week trying to schedule the next time she could give blood. They were harassing her so much that eventually blocked their number. I personally don’t believe in giving parts of my body away, not only for the sake of my health but for spiritual matters as well, so this was never an option for me. I’m glad I listened to my instinct.
I have that instinct for my spirit too. We don't know God's plan for us, it's not for anyone else to demand from us or to decide.Follow Jesus, he is the way, the truth and the life .
Donating blood when done right is for the good of those who suffer from immunodeficiency but I can understand your perspective. I am shocked to find they made it a drug tho…. Transfusion is one thing, a part of my body eaten is another thing 🗿 That’s nasty, reminds me of God saying don’t drink or eat blood
I donated blood once, but it made me sick. I’m a very small person. I donated plasma a few times during some poor times in my life, but once they took way too much from me and it made me very sick so I quit doing that. There are two plasma donation places in my town and there are always people lined up out the door to donate. The Red Cross is bogus also. I was a school nurse a few years ago and they used us to staff shelters during hurricanes and barely even showed up to bring supplies. None of their folks came to actually stay and help us. Such bs.
Greetings, please look at the Creative Society, there are already avaliable free energy technologies, health capsules, even matter replicator and other developments useful for the life of society and freeing time for selfdevelopment, personal life, entertainment but it is necessary to change the format from consumption to Creation, it is important the participation of each person to inform! ❤ When the people are silent, the political mafia weaves its intrigues and plans!
Me too. I was a regular donor and I started to feel very funny on the back of my head. That day I said "no more". I did it like for 7 months and will eat heavy and good quality food. Lots of veggies and organic. It is not worthy, but if some people can stand it, good for them. Keep moving forward.
This documentary should be applauded. Donors will have to be paid more over time. The payments vary greatly depending on the state. Some states are paying 140 a week. Donors for 1000 ml donations should receive 150 dollars minimum per donation. These billionaires can afford it. Their greed is horrendous. 90% of the employees at these centers even donate because they are paid so little
I never received a penny for the dozens of units I used to donate. In my part of the USA its unpaid donations. I had no idea big pharma was profiting from my donations. I could barely make ends meet and those greedy SOBs have record profits every single year. Disgusting.
I watched a documentary a few years ago disclosing the selling of plasma. People are getting rich from people's kindness. Always a shortage, so we are told. The documentary alerted me to the criminal behavior of the blood donation industry.
I wish docs like these have verbal translators. I usually watch/listen to these while doing something else and having to read the subtitles makes that impossible.
I live in Cleveland and visited the plasma bank on west 25th years ago. My relatives visit regularly now. It is definitely a raquet of appeasing people below the poverty level with mere crumbs. Yes you can lie about tattoos and drug use with no questions. But if something tangible such as high blood pressure or high diabetic numbers is detected you can't donate. Clearly people in there are on heavy drugs but are allowed to donate anyway. There is a store across the street where people purchase beer and wine before they go into the plasma bank and junk food when they come out. This video has taught me alot about this shady business.
I am an RN in the US working in ICU. I had no idea people in the US get paid to donate and 2X/ week is very hard on the body, especially for elderly and people with health conditions. The Company oversees should be more honest and truthful about what is going on. Personally I would choose to die from my illness before getting blood from someone addicted to illegal drugs. People have the right to know about the blood products they are receiving- this seems very nefarious
Poor people have sold their blood for ages. Red Cross outlets were frequently located next to skid row. Hard core, down on their luck alcoholics had a convenient way to get money for liquor. And the Red Cross had a steady supply of blood.
So addicted to legal drugs is ok? (the same f***ing drugs in a different situation) why do you hate the people addicted to illegal drugs? Do you think the majority of them is living this life by choice?
What about blood donated by people who are taking (legal) drugs, pharmaceuticals, on repeat prescription they are also addicts, would you accept their blood?
its so weird how these companies, who exist SOLELY due to people donating their own blood to them, act super shady when people want certain questions answered. You would think that they would want to at least SEEM transparent with any questions someone may have. Instead, it almost seems like theres something they are hiding, and they dont want the public to know.
Just watched this documentary. Live in Cleveland suburb and looked up Octopharma Plasma centers. Unfortunately all are located where more struggling people live. The”bad areas” of town. Scary to see the police called on filmmakers. They must be doing improper collection techniques and possibly not Sterile environments or collections? Yes I am a trained phlebotomist so I understand how these donations should be done.
St.Louis, Mo is same way, scary areas these places are in. Can you imagine the people who have lied??? I know a few & over heard a few conversations. SCARY! Stay healthy!
Even if they do things in a sanitary way, it's bad PR to see 90+pc black communities hooked on pills give their blood for 20 bucks to a white swiss billionaire living in a mansion...
@@annanajduch5201the well off people have MORE time…time to go out and eat time to go to the gym and park during the day..so enough time to give back to the sickly... Not sure what rock you are under but I’d like to go there bc my reality is the well off are self absorbed not lacking time.
I was told by a plasma center in Dayton Ohio that I was positive for Hep C , this is after donating over 8 times . I immediately contacted my M.D. she tested me for Hep C, and it was negative. The plasma center was owned by a company in Canada.
False positives sometimes happens. They test your blood before they give it to people and they try to inform the donaters if they find something irregular.
This isn't rare. False Positives happen ALL the time. Unfortunately, even if you are clean after and show them results. You are deferred for life to make sure they won't get contaminated samples.
That woman was shocked about the blood quality rather than the ethics behind it 🤦🏻♀️ She literally said; if they got paid, it’s fine Does she consider them human ?
This hospital will sell this blood to another hospital and that is no doubt. Only in time of mass disaster hospitals donated blood but not to a private individual. You will pay for it.
That's human nature. The natural man (or a woman) is not a pretty being (as the society tries so desperately to convince you of) but a self-absorbed, malicious and inherently cruel form of life. I cannot say an animal because animals do not take pleasure in causing unjustified suffering. If you live long enough on this earth, you will realise that most people lack the capacity to see their fellow humans as "humans like me".
Having blood pumped from my body and then returned (minus the plasma) doesn’t sound safe or sanitary to me. Big risks to the donor and user as I see it.
I've received hundreds of blood platelets transfusions over my life time and I'd be Dead so many times without it Thank you for your Kindness and Generosity I'm shocked that some unscrupulous people are making billions from this I can only hope and pray that many people are saved by kind hearted donors
You dont think the local hospital isn't charging insurance HUNDREDS of dollars for a unit of blood for a patient needing it for surgery that the hospital got for $20?? Your "donation" of a unit of blood is not given to patients for free or even for the $20 you are paid for it, the hospital is billing insurance or medicare for hundreds of dollars or more, plus the needle disposal fee, administration fees and all the rest added in
@@HobbyOrganistyes and it's not this man's fault. He needed the transfusions. If you feel that strongly about it, you can write in or petition or whatever. He can also but the majority who can act are those who don't need the transfusions.
My mother needed our platelets ( six children: a lot of platelets)and more after a side effect of lifelong ANTIHISTIMINE use gave her a fatal Aplastic Anemis disease. She died in two months residence at Tripler Army Medical Center while waiting for a bone marrow transplant from my aunt.
Just curious David cause I’m heard briefly of things but don’t know the process With regards to giving blood I hear that sometimes a person can have their blood extracted so that they can later use it for medical reasons. This seems to be namely considered when it comes to surgery. Have you ever heard of this option or considered it? And if so can you share any details to someone who wants to better understand how that works.
I donated for a few months and was shocked by how the operation was so poorly run - they put all effort into fulfilling the legal/regulations and none into the care of the donators. Most were poor or temporarily broke and I would have continued even after I no longer needed the money but having scars in my arms was not worth whatever good I may have been doing.
I do have a permanent scar on my right arm (my non-dominant arm, and the one I always offered) from my time donating. Makes it easy to find the big vein there, which fortunately still works; probably because I did this for months rather than years! 😬
@@carolbrownleehalbert3593 Yep. I have had to tell doctors and nurses that I was never an IV drug user. Some can tell because the way the scar tissue is "neat" compared to a drug user scars but a few have thought I am lying. No shade on those who recover and have to deal with the stigma but scar tissue is a consequence of plasma donations.
I am an RH - blood type which Ive been told is one of the more rare types. I would have been more than willing to donate but when personel weren't willing to answer a few SIMPLE questions my alarms went off and I haven't contacted them since. WHATS UP WITH THE SECRECY?
@@daniburke9452definitely not worth ur health. Don't even think of donating ur precious blood, u have only one body and when that is messed up then all the money of the world wouldn't help u...
Those plasma bottles were worth several thousand dollars each 13-15yrs ago when I worked in a plasma donation center. Twice that if they were special types. It's a huge money making industry. Donors would get a few hundred dollars a month if they did every donation. Special type donations got twice that per month. I had to cull and destroy plenty of plasma, and permanently defer donors due to test results (hiv, syphilis, etc). Other things can be filtered out of the plasma. Plasma falls under organ donation by the FDA which is why you can't be paid for the plasma itself. It is very time-consuming to donate and it comes with a lot of risks and takes a lot out of you, so you do get compensated for your time. You can donate plasma more frequently than blood because it rebuilds faster than blood cells. If you got paid for the plasma itself, you'd get paid a whole lot more than what they give you for time compensation. We definitely need plasma because so many medications, treatments, and vaccines are made from it, and it is needed for surgeries, burn patients, and trauma patients. It should not cost as much as it does. It is pure greed by big pharma.
some medications that use plasma are : Biologics are powerful medications that can be made of tiny parts like sugars, proteins, or DNA. Or they can be whole cells or tissues, a lot of people with immune deficiencies need igg therapy.. made from plasma also .. one of the biologics. and believe me big pharma is making ALOT of money from insurance when people can get insurance to cover it.
This really demonstrates how protected some are from simply answering questions. Then they go after folks asking questions. You can’t say it’s not a form of intimidation or a means of harming those financially for asking questions. I can’t see it as a big deal to answer questions IF there is nothing to hide so it’s obvious there is a lot to hide. It’s crazy to me how we’ve allowed ourselves as societies to look the other way, to go along with things that we probably should not but it’s because it’s easier to go along to get along then the alternative. It’s way past time to unite in taking back our dignity, morality, and restoring humanity a little at time. I pray the Lord has mercy and guides those who are are working to do so.
You are talking about mercy, dignity and compassion yet you probably don’t mind another being’s body on your plate. Humanity can be restored only when the whole world will stop consumption of other innocent beings’ bodies. Nobody is above others. Every living being is equal in their rights to live. Meat and milk industries hide much too. They draw happy animals on the package while in reality they are exploiting them mercilessly and killing them. And if this was humane you’d have no problem showing that to your children.
Dont kid yourselves, unvaccinated blood Is highly sort after now, it's worth moon beams now as there is only 2.7 billion unvaccinated in the world, it's all about supply and demand, and there over 6 billion poke victims.
I recently looked into 'donating' plasma. All 3 of those companies mentioned have a donation facility in my city. I went through the intake process at CSL. It's still only a series of questions that they ask (on a computer). Then they test your BP and blood sugar / proteins (they prick your finger, so I guess that's what they're testing for). The pay is quite a bit more now at $90 a pop. And you can donate 2x's a week. After watching this, I'll definitely not go back. It makes me wonder though, for the people who need plasma - what about a non-profit that links recipients with healthy donors directly? I would like to donate directly to someone like Tamara - and leave the billionaire vampires out of the loop.
What I've always wondered is, what is the health cost of having the plasma sucked from your body up to 100 times a year? Back when I was a plasma "donor" they took something like 800ml of plasma from my body during every visit. Extrapolate that over a year and they were taking approximately 22 gallons or 80 liters (80kg or 176lbs by weight) of plasma from my body every year, more than my own bodyweight. You can't convince me that it's healthy or safe to have such a stress placed on your body, especially when such a high percentage of "donors" are low income people who smoke cigarettes, drink alcohol, get high on a daily basis, and eat an unhealthy diet.
Yeah... The life is in the blood too. Though I once was okay with receiving transfusions before I was converted - I have immense reservations now because our body is the temple.... And I trust the Most High and His will be done.
@@fairchild1737Exactly. They say you're helping someone in need when in fact they're feeding off of unsuspecting people especially those in need of money. These vampires are so weak, without a fix they wither up almost immediately. Watch the movie Blade 1-3 they're vampires and nothing more. They hide because they know it's true.
I stopped donating blood, due to the thought that patients needing the blood were being charged an arm and a leg for it. Yet I was giving it for free. NOW I know the real truth, and this is sickening to my stomach 😔
Thank you for this documentary. These poor donors are being exploited badly. Eho knows what all they are doing. Keep up the great work. We are with you.
Legend has it that back in the early nineties a certain governor of a certain state required all prisoners in the state to donate blood which was then sold to Canada without being tested for aids.
They are paid. They are demand for sick patients. It's a niche health industry. Without it, patients will be suffering. Poor are paid for their plasma donation.
What an amazing job you guys have accomplished, well done! Thank for sharing this with us, I hope everyone one how appreciate it pass it on to with the purpose of educating our community. ❤
7:55 saying that ‘this type of population can’t afford these treatments’ but this is the same population giving away their blood and plasma for profit to these companies is insanity.
In the UK, we had to opt out of Organ donations as otherwise, we would belong to the state, obviously, I opted out as I am wise enough to know organs are big business 😨
Not every organ gets abused. I received a kidney transplant at 25 when my kidneys failed from lupus nephritis when I was 21. But I totally understand your point! This medical industry is sick, sick!!
I opted out of being a donor back in 2014 when I found out about all this. They love to call and send letters when you have a rare blood type to the point of harassment. Make your wishes known every which way you can!
I had organ donor on my driver’s license for years. Recently moved and had to update my DL. I checked no on organ donor. I just don’t trust the government after COVID.
@@lah-tee5412 Amen to that! Agree, I watched something before, a man had an accident and although he could not move his limbs etc he was still alive and the hospital were discussing him being a donor, if it wasn't for another doctor he would be classed as brain dead, thats what they say and lie to the family. The truth is do not be a donor, they will not save your life!
So you donate blood for a few bucks, that is suppose to be to save a life of a patient that needs it, but that patient doesn't get it as a free donation from someone that cared enough to donate, they charge them thousands of dollars for a pint??!! I thought people were donating so that someone in need gets it free!!
Everything man says is a lie people have been deceived forever you can't trust them for anything any Dr that can deny that a all natural God made creation is less likely too work than artificial man made crap he/she is not trying too help you! They make their money of of this racket! Trust God and your common sense!
@deprogram-a-rama People are donating thinking it's saving lives because the person in need is getting it free! Many don't know they are actually charging patients thousands for the blood!! It's like taking your used Items to Goodwill and they're selling it for full prize!! It doesn't make sense!!
I was reading The Body by Bill Bryson, it mentioned the US plasma export was 1.6% of all goods exported, more than the sales of airplanes. I looked up the numbers for the report year of 2018, the dollar amount for US plasma sales was about $27.2 Billion dollars. I thought there's no way the number's right, then I came across this documentary... What the hell has this world become.
Most do , rarely do you see someone who donates just because. Poor people can make a $100-$200 extra a month. Depending on how many times they go & promotions.
They get compensated for their time. They do get paid!!! I used to do it too. You just don't want to do it too often. Donors need to use their head and common sense.
I'm a plasma donor and get compensated for it . Here in Lorain, Ohio. Lately, they have been reducing the price every week , so for that reason, I will stop donating, and a lot of people feel the same.
My husband had to donate his own blood for his own surgeries. When we went to the building to donate it had an indoor stream and a beautiful lobby like a forest. I was in my early 20s but thought it didn't make sense. If they have enough money to blow on extravagant buildings but expect humanitarian to give blood to them for free something was wrong with that. I've never felt compelled to donate blood because I felt there was alot of dishonesty. Also, when my husband had his surgery, we had to buy his blood back for him to use it and he never needed all that he was required to have drawn in the weeks leading up to his surgeries.
I like the idea of stocking up on my own blood and using it rather than a stranger’s blood. Sounds like an expensive task, to extract it and save it for later.
I used to donate blood but after realizing it is going to benefit some hospital big time than the needy I stopped. I rather wait till someone announced to need some type of blood than donating to blood bank.
One of the most impactful documentaries I have seen recently. Money plays a more significant role in human life than water, air, or oxygen. Please forgive me, my Lord, if I have done anything wrong. 24:06
I think canada medical industry as well, everytime I go to the doctor they send me for blood test, I start to curious what are they doing with so many tubes of blood!
It's not exactly the same thing but my grandpa had to get a blood transfusion like in the 80's - something was wrong with his stomach and he basically bled to death internally and so had to get _a lot_ of blood to replace what he lost. My grandpa always had super healthy habits - like he almost exclusively ate vegetables and only a little meat here and there, he always took long walks in the woods, he stayed mentally and physically active with his hobbies and learning new things, he was always super calm and never got angry or excited - and there has been a lot of longevity on that side of the family. So we all totally expected - even took for granted - that he'd live to well over 100. But he had a handful of accidents/health emergencies in his life - run over by a truck that caught his overalls and dragged him quite a distance as a kid; had an utterly horrific car accident in the 50's while he was on leave from the military that split the car in half, killed the guy he was riding with and my grandpa was even pronounced dead more than once - and then, while in the hospital, the doctors supposedly fully expected him to die and so did a very shoddy, insufficient job patching him up - basically, just stopped the bleeding and sewed him up - leaving his internal organs mangled which gave him trouble until the day he died - specifically his stomach where he could only digest a tiny amount of food; and finally, in the 1980's, he had the issue where he got the transfusions after nearly bled to death internally - like bleeding ulcers and/or related to his medical treatment from the 1950's - and there were some issues with that hospital visit. So he was always very cynical of doctors and refused to go to hospitals or clinics for years and years . But as he started getting older, some of his underlying conditions with the internal bleeding and such started getting worse and he finally gave in and went to the doctor. It was here that they discovered he had Hepatitis C and that he'd had it for a long time - which they tracked to his blood transfusion in the 1980's. Supposedly, this was either before hospitals tested the blood or they'd been negligent and the blood he had received was tainted with Hep C. But around the time his Hep C was discovered was when they'd developed the cure. So he got it and his Hep C was cured but he'd developed severe liver damage - even though he never smoked, never did drugs, never drank, lived healthy, etc. - which I thought was ironic since all 4 of his sons and the vast majority of his grandsons (including myself) had a lot of pretty severe issues with drug addiction, alcoholism, etc. and none of us had any liver issues.. So he started having trouble with his ammonia levels, more issues with internal blood loss and other liver related issues and he would have times where the high ammonia levels would basically make him lose his mind - which, he was an old-fashioned, proud, independent man and these spells really embarrassed and bothered him. But at one of his visits to the hospital for his ammonia levels, they discovered he'd developed liver cancer. The treatments were on the verge of killing him and so my RN wife suggested it might be best to just let him enjoy the rest of his time in peace. So he quit all the cancer medicine and lived a relatively happy, normal and fulfilled 7 more years. So yeah, even though it's not related, I can't help but think of that - my grandpa should have easily lived past 100 but a bad blood transfusion in the 1980's and his dislike of doctors cut his life very short in my opinion.
Yes my otherwise healthy uncle was diagnosed with leukemia in less than a year after having a blood transfusion. My dad and I looked at each other and said almost the same time, it was the blood transfusion. He lost his life two years later fighting the blood cancer
OK, as someone who works for the German Red Cross I want to add some aspects which I feel weren't explained in the necessary amount of detail: Donating plasma (plasmapheresis) is NOT the same as donating full blood. You will be hooked up on a "bloodcircuit" that only filters the plasma out of your blood, there are no blood cells being removed. This makes it easier on your body, so you can safely donate plasma every 3-4 days (if your body is given enough nutrients and rest!). Of course, money is involved when dealing with blood/plasma. You need the donation centre, qualified staff, machines to process everything etc etc. The plasma is stored at very energy intensive -40°C/-40°F. Oftentimes, hospitals themselves don't know how much blood cells and plasma they will need and in addition to usual orders we provide blood on comission. In emergencies blood needs to be transported to places up to two hours far, often via taxi. This is all very costly! Of course, I can't assure you this 100%, but from my perspective, every plasma that is needed in hospitals is provided, so what do you expect to happen to the rest? That it's thrown away or left on a shelf to expire when it could be used to make medicine? Even if just 20% of plasma end up in hospitals for like emergencies, it doesn't really matter because just these 20% are needed. In Germany, the "compensation" is literally just that, depending on how far your way to the centre is and the centre itself. As far as ik it's 5-20€, which is just a little more than your costs and it is because no one would come donate if you would even lose money (for train tickets/gas etc). And tbh, if it were just a little more regulated who and how often could come donate in cities like Cleveland, I wouldn't condemn people getting paid to sell their plasma. That they're in need of the money is not the blood industry's fault, no? As a little disclaimer: I do not want to defend huge pharma industries and I can't speak for the Red Cross in other countries. I just felt like this documentary could deter many from donating, because they don't want to support big pharma, however imo this would be the worst consequence to draw from the documentary as your BLOOD SAFES LIVES!!! Also, if you have your own insights, feel free to correct me when I expressed myself incorrectly :)
I said years ago that if I had the money to start a plasma donation facility I would pay $500 the first donation and $1000 for the second! These places could do this ( giving donors real money) and still turn a huge profit
Excellent documentary, but very sad that such a documentary had to be made at all. Billions of dollars for a few, and a pittance for those that give their life's blood. Wow.
I donated blood once and never again! The side effects hit me 10days later, the fatigue, difficulty waking and shortness of breath on light exertion was too much.
I had a neighbor when I was a teenager that would donate so he could get totally wasted off a six pack. And his parents thought he was such a giving person that wanted to help people.
I would donate at a smaller clinic that would then use that blood for cancer research. They wouldn't take nearly as much as larger clinics, like LifeSouth and Red Cross. But I was donating so frequently, my hemoglobin and hematocrit dropped to a 4...it's supposed to be 13-14. I was walking around with less than 1/3 of the blood I should have had in my body. With little symptoms. If I had donated one more time, I could have died. And just like they said, it was to make ends meet. The health industry doesn't care. We are indispensable to them 😡😢
Cancer research is bs. Another big KELLIE They 'te Rich and pwerful/elites/bloodline of Satan, already know what cures it, what causes it, how to prevent it
I was military then werked in the navy shipyards. We had a regular blood donation about twice a year. Were told it was for the military, makes me wonder now. That donation was purely to help others
They milked you guys like silk worms. And sold your life source. We shouldn’t be surprised, you pretty much sign your soul away when you join, especially if you kill another human.
before retiring, I worked at the blood banks, and our regulations were very strict, we had to constantly take tests to make sure we knew what we were doing. One mistake and whole pint of blood or plasma had to be discarded. We tested the products thoroughly to make sure it was safe. We did blood transfusions, had blood, plasma and bone marrow donors. Never knew there was a problem in this. Although the ones who pay to give plasma, I do not know about. We never paid for donors to donate.
Please understand that places like octapharma are not the same as blood banks. Blood donations that are intended for human use go through multiple checks, tests, and purification procedures. It helps so many people, trauma victims, mothers, newborns, those with deficiencies, transplant surgeries. I had jaundice when I was born and a blood transfusion helped me. This documentary focuses on plasma collected for commercial use. What they showed is not wrong, but I do wish they had presented the whole blood donation side, because people confuse the two.
I worked scheduling for blood banks. I still wouldn’t trust them since I was paid to harass donors. We would still give them time to recover but still I wouldn’t trust them because we have to invade and get personal health details of them and even had to call donors you knew were dead since they would be born in 1910 or something.
Regular plasma donor here. At the plasma center I donate at we are compensated $100 or less per donation, depending on what antibodies you have in your system.
About a year ago before I was pregnant I donated plasma for a few months. Of course I was weak and tired, but I was very poor and needing extra money. I thank God for keeping me safe through all of it, and even if someone uses my blood for evil God used it for good to help me get through the hard times. Judgment Day is coming for those who use anything for evil and refused to fear the one true Living God
Amen I'm never donating. Seen way to many things happening in the demonic. I pray buckets and buckets of blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth over your donations and any other brothers and sisters in the body of Christ. 🙂
In the Netherlands we do not get paid for blood or plasma donation, and travel expenses are only reimbursed for plasma donation. You are also only allowed to donate blood to a limited extent, women are only allowed to donate blood 3 times a year and men 5 times. You can donate plasma every 3 weeks.
This is a predatory / parasitic practice.
Things that are legal and things that are moral are two very different things.

This is so gross. People should be able to donate blood under their terms and not need to bring a lawyer to decipher the double speak. I am sure there are negative health effects to donating blood frequently. Most people in the world are deficient in vitamins and minerals from inadequate diets. Then they go ahead and give away their blood which contains all these nutrients. On a long-term basis, the body will see deficiency symptoms.
When the government, corporations, charities and mainstream news media are corrupt... it prevents the truth from being revealed.
This story is ridiculous

I’ve been working in blood banking for 10 years. This is nothing new at all. I remember finding out that a bag of plasma I separated from red blood cells would sell for about 20k. Then when you get into specific blood typing it only shoots the price up and up. All off of a free donation. It’s wild.
Well then they should be offering more money to the people that offer the plasma then.

You should produce a video on how COVID effected blood donation and sale. Did the sale of blood decrease? Did the donations result in contamination? Did COVID make blood unfit for donations?

I used to donate often but I realized that my mental health took a dive after for a few days each time. The mind is very sensitive to the sudden loss of water and protein. The body has to work harder while the body rejuvenates.

When I heard they get $20 per donation, I was shocked. The center near me gives you minimum $115 a week and I only go when they’re giving $130 a week

Blah, blah, blah.
I was already wondering what was really going on with blood banks and red cross. Thank you for bringing this in the open and expose it to the public❤

I just did the same thing and got the same results. Wow!

Wow.. Weird
So sorry you had to deal with such incompetence. Having been told any abnormal blood test results are so scary.
This isn't rare. False Positives happen ALL the time. Unfortunately, even if you are clean after and show them results. You are deferred for life to make sure they won't get contaminated samples.
have you tried any other lab to check your blood? some labs are corrupted nowadays and work with corrupted doctors.
That woman was shocked about the blood quality rather than the ethics behind it 🤦🏻♀️
She literally said; if they got paid, it’s fine
Does she consider them human ?
This hospital will sell this blood to another hospital and that is no doubt. Only in time of mass disaster hospitals donated blood but not to a private individual. You will pay for it.
But to her defense she is a land whale so why she should think of a cattle as a humans?
No.
@@rightsdontcomewithpermits7073 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🫣
That's human nature. The natural man (or a woman) is not a pretty being (as the society tries so desperately to convince you of) but a self-absorbed, malicious and inherently cruel form of life. I cannot say an animal because animals do not take pleasure in causing unjustified suffering. If you live long enough on this earth, you will realise that most people lack the capacity to see their fellow humans as "humans like me".

Older than men waking up to drink water.
Having blood pumped from my body and then returned (minus the plasma) doesn’t sound safe or sanitary to me. Big risks to the donor and user as I see it.

I am really curious: what medications are being made using plasma??
Yes I'm wondering too what exact medications that use blood to make them?
some medications that use plasma are : Biologics are powerful medications that can be made of tiny parts like sugars, proteins, or DNA. Or they can be whole cells or tissues, a lot of people with immune deficiencies need igg therapy.. made from plasma also .. one of the biologics. and believe me big pharma is making ALOT of money from insurance when people can get insurance to cover it.
You are aware that they use aborted fetal tissue and cells too aren't you?
What were the special types of plasma that they charged more for?
If your question gets unanswered by authorities, then you have legit questions that they don't want to answer.
Keep up, good work
This really demonstrates how protected some are from simply answering questions.
I wonder if they’re checking for an elevation of spike protein in some of the plasma now
I doubt it.
I think they are looking for special stuff. The blood mobiles those always were haunting to me. Weird.
No they are not. I've been donating since 2013 and since the pandemic, I was wondering that too at the time. Sad to say, they do not care.
When I’ve donated blood they ask me if I had the covid vaccine or if I’ve had covid.

Exactly! Someone needs to step up and make the entire process more transparent.

This is interesting how scripture is mentioning how everything/ everyone is not all they seem. Thank you sis!

Did he have a rare type. That's strange.
I like the idea of stocking up on my own blood and using it rather than a stranger’s blood. Sounds like an expensive task, to extract it and save it for later.

Whole blood donation and blood plasma donation are completely different things.
Exactly. When you donate to a blood bank/drive, your donation is very likely to be used at a hospital for a patient at a hospital in your state.
UK rules changed in August 2021, for whole blood donations they now separate into parts (plasma, platelets etc) so who the hell knows what goes where!

Sounds like an amazing man .
Yes my otherwise healthy uncle was diagnosed with leukemia in less than a year after having a blood transfusion. My dad and I looked at each other and said almost the same time, it was the blood transfusion. He lost his life two years later fighting the blood cancer
Thank you for doing this documentary, this needs to be revealed,so sad.
OK, as someone who works for the German Red Cross I want to add some aspects which I feel weren't explained in the necessary amount of detail:
Donating plasma (plasmapheresis) is NOT the same as donating full blood.
Thanks for proving ones more that "donations " are just a scam.
I said years ago that if I had the money to start a plasma donation facility I would pay $500 the first donation and $1000 for the second! These places could do this ( giving donors real money) and still turn a huge profit
I won't be going back. Thanks for the documentary!!!

before retiring, I worked at the blood banks, and our regulations were very strict, we had to constantly take tests to make sure we knew what we were doing.
