Tecadam, can you do a video about how to receive definition updates from Microsoft security essentials in windows xp?
I would, but unfortunately, there is no known way at the moment to do that.
This needs to be done even on fully update XP machines? (Updated with Legacy Update with postready)
Not really, but if you want to then you can.
Is the rtm updates tutorial for windows 7 almost out?
even if tyou do that most of the pages dont work.
needs ROOT certificates
That's true, if you want updated root certificates for Windows XP and after, you can check out the video I made about that!
How fast was windows xp…
yeah it was fast, hes using it on a vm so is not the same thing as a pc but since i use it on real era period correct hardware with ofc hdds i can assure you that its really fast
It depends on your hardware. It runs very fast on most hardware, but if your hardware is extremally old, then it will probably run very slow and or it might not even be compatible on it.
@@tecadam on like early 2000 hardware, from around the time it was released it doesn't run that good ofc
One ssd will fix it.
@@EvgeniSimeonov-gz9he nah theres no need for an ssd, it will run fast on a decent hdd, also xp doesnt support the trim feature that ssd use
