Being alone on an empty beach for 5 minutes only to have a family show up and walk towards you is literally what happens to me every time I go anywhere to be alone.
Well, when you realise the first time he killed someone, there was no police to arrest him due to them being busy with whatever is happening because the situation was already that bad
I guess no one ever tried to use a mirror tinted sunglass to avoid eye contact. Also there has to be another trigger other than eye contact since there are some people who seems to not be affected by it.
I suspect the effect is contagious, but it's also temporary. Vincent's curse also infected his attackers with the same curse. However, when he spread the curse too thin, he got rid of the curse. But Margot got the curse from him, and he attacked her. So I think that the curse cannot inflict a person twice. (Though they can still be forced to attack a curse sufferer.)
I realized after a while that the movie was french (I'm bilingual, so I don't always realize that the languages are différent when I listen in english and the text in french). It was the big Carrefour logo on the box delivered that took me by surprise (a big groceries brand)
Why doesn't the character wear glasses so that the people around him can't see his eyes or carry some sort of flashlight/flashbomb to blind the attackers for a moment then flee from their sight 🤷♂🤷♂
Socially awkward/having social anxiety* People need to stop thinking introverts are either. I'm introverted but got no problems being out in public or even doing karaoke in front of large crowds. It just means you have something like a social battery that drains when you do it and charges when you're on your own. For extroverts it's the other way around.
A long time ago I randomly thought this would happen to certain people that everyone uses and blackmails that person's parents not to help. This was in 2010. I don't know where the thought came from
I feel vincent. Throughout my life I've always been a victim of bullying and it has caused me to consider everyone as my enemy and it has ruined my life.
lol, everyone is an enemy. It saved you life if not. Trust no one. Vet continuously and always keep at least a self defense item with you. That's the default.
Vincent Must Die - VMD. The difficulty in this mode has been massively increased. Now the enemies and bosses will have 200% HP and can unlock DT with 25% of their health remained. Also, Vincent will now receive 150% damage compared to hard mode.
I live in Serbia, it's completely normal here that someone beats you to near death just because you looked at him. They see it as invading space, but in some animalistic way

Aj ne seri Stop with that BS, it probably happens less often than shootings in USA
Usually I can watch these movie recaps even horror movies (which I can't stomach at all) but as a sufferer of paranoia I guess this really hits me because the longer I watched this the more anxious I got.
From Africa here... love your channel... why doesn't the guy wear sunglasses to avoid eye contact? He can look at something else while talking to people with the personal not knowing... problem solved
Man, i hate when movies use these interesting concepts as plot devices and never explain the origin. That’s why i love these recaps. Would’ve wasted 2 hrs
Finally an original beautiful movie. God, most of the mainstream media nowadays is like copy paste. Maybe the trigger wasn't eye contact but something else. We only know the main characters perspective and the hobos one.
How is it that I've only found 2 other comments about sunglasses? There's over 140 comments (at this time), and it's just you, me, and another woman that points out SUNGLASS pretty much solve this entire movie's problems. This is one of those times I am so disappointed in MANKIND.
So he makes eye contact with people and they change. Some of the people changed without eye contact. And some of them didn't change at all when they looked at him. He made eye contact with those people.
A little bit similar to Bird Box, only the difference was that by looking at someone's eyes one can be violent, unlike the Bird Box, once you look outside and that wind starts coming towards you, you are d3ad.
This reminds of shin megami tensei strange journey redux there is one level or one area where you can go to I think it's like the fourth realm when all the crew members exit a ship called red Sprite to investigate the surrounding area they start going mad then when you came across this creature literally looks like a virus the form it takes the guns the character holds doesn't do crap to it later in the map you require a weapon that helps fight these things and help cares other members it doesn't kill him when they're out of the body it kills them when they inside the human body well at one point all the crewmen start trying to kill each other and literally killed each other and the virus they call this thing is the madman virus but for now the game you find a temporarily solution.

@@chiggsytubeIs it really? I didn’t know that
Even home isn't safe. People understand privacy, but don't give a MASSIVE fuck about it. Probably why we keep abandoning infants in cars all the time?

Sunglasses? Helmet?
My first thought.
Exactly what I was thinking😎
Contacts maybe
Logic? In a movie??
Movie intelligence once again, obvious solution
For a movie where they cant make eye contact they sure make eye contact a lot.
a world where aviator sunglasses do not exist.
Well, when you realise the first time he killed someone, there was no police to arrest him due to them being busy with whatever is happening because the situation was already that bad
The purge,solo?
12:41 "Margot finds an abandoned car, so she throws out the drivers body" idk if this was intended to be funny but it really got me

Lets just take a moment to respect the stuntman that slid off that bike onto the ground.
Could have just worn sunglasses
🫣😎Hahahaha exactly my thoughts in a first few seconds of the video 😅👌

Odor maybe... But that family on the beach was too far away.

what if he looks at himself in a mirror?
I love how he continued looking at people even after discovering what was going on
Literally the most French movie ironically
I realized after a while that the movie was french (I'm bilingual, so I don't always realize that the languages are différent when I listen in english and the text in french). It was the big Carrefour logo on the box delivered that took me by surprise (a big groceries brand)

A very good pupper
Why doesn't the character wear glasses so that the people around him can't see his eyes or carry some sort of flashlight/flashbomb to blind the attackers for a moment then flee from their sight 🤷♂🤷♂
That'd be too easy and no fun
Vincent could really use sunglasses, sheesh.

Bird box: Origin 😂
BRO WHAT IF VINCENT IS THE BIRD BOX MONSTER
@@keem2723yup.
Yup 😂.
The feeling when you make unintended eye contact with strangers… that's why I wear sunglasses everywhere like an a*hole 😂
Yea- I think a mask/sunglasses/wrapping your face/helmet/maybe even face paint/contacts would solve everything
I feel vincent. Throughout my life I've always been a victim of bullying and it has caused me to consider everyone as my enemy and it has ruined my life.

oh thank you, guess that explains the plot hole

All npc are enemies and have super 20% armor
All weapons are 30% less effective.
I'm only halfway through, but wow does this guy have one problem after another! Almost as unlucky as I am.
Feels like another day on Twitter
A lot of the deaths could have been avoided if someone just put on a dang sunglass 😂😂
Ye people in the movies are so dumb. 💀
They took long to realize that the only solution is to block the guys eyes.

"I beat you because I love you"......Domestic Violence: The Movie
Well he has an excuse to wear heavily tinted aviators for the rest of his life.
Can we all agree that the dog was the best part of this movie?
When you realize he could've just bought sunglasses instead of self defense items
This movie needed 2 birds in a box.
This sounds a bit like the SCP-096 but in opposite effect.
As someone with social anxiety this is how it feels, but those feelings are absolutely real in this movie.
Yay good thing I like to avoid eye contact, but I’d probably still get attacked once or twice because I never said I’m good at avoiding eye contact
Why not put the name of the movie??
Exactly! I don't know why they do this
It's on the first frame of the video...

I would of wore shades or a motorcycle helmet
for some strange reason this film reminds me of Ponty pool idk how, but it does.
"trying not to look at them," Won't stop glansing at the person every .5 seconds lol
Sometimes the violence is random and sometimes it's targeted? Make it make sense.

A situation that can be entirely resolved by going to the authorities and saying "hey, check this out"
im surprised he never thought of wearing sunglasses

I can't believe they used real life footage of a woman severely beaten in China because she refused the advances of a local gangster.
No wonder the footage seems familiar...
