  • Art can be much more than the finished product. Artists have been finding new audiences by taking to social media and sharing videos of their process. The results are some of the most satisfying techniques. They range from kinetic sand cutting, paint mixing, wax letter presses, and more.

      @GalaGrinsArt 5 років тому +36

      @no. Just to see if this accusation had merit, I looked through Amazon Face mold Results and Compared it to the Artist's instagram photos and I did find some VERY similar face molds. One looked exactly the same as the left face at the beginning of the shot. I assume she buys premade sculptures sometimes and makes molds from them possibly, maybe just eyeballs preexisting molds and tries to imitate them, or maybe she just buys the molds and just carves a bit out of the result. Whitehouse has a point that the Paint molds are suspiciously similar to pre-existing items.

    art is subjective. I love the freezing paint into molds and cutting them up to reveal it's paint and I would say that's art. I would guess anyone could do asmr and slicing things and I don't think of it as art but some might think it is, to be fair. ftr it's not necessarily how easy, it's the idea sometimes that is art. look at Jackson Pollack

    Including the one who cuts up lush products, they’re technically creating sound and video to make an experience

    It seems people are not understanding why this 0:36 is on this list.
    The artist made realistic models of food using her knowledge of Color theory, layering technique, and other ways to manipulate the medium for display. She then freezes the mini sculpture to maintain its shape.
    Lastly, using her knowledge of showmanship, cuts the item and shows the client/viewer the medium she used.
