@@Buzzsprout I ended up figuring it out. When you install the app, it does quite create an authentic shortcut to run it's .exe file (PC in my case). Launching the program on the desktop makes to root to the folder and then it searches for the the .exe to launch. This way makes it not detect the mic from the software. So what I had to do was enter the file directory, look for the actual authentic .exe and create new shortcut, and send it to the desktop. You then launch the program with administrative launch. This is the solution as I've seen many people struggle with it as well. I'm glad I was able to figure it out

Nice video, thanks ! I do have one question: do you know if the settings (made using the app) retain on the microphone itself, or on the laptop/device ? I'm asking because I'm considering using a couple of those microphones for multi-guests podcasting (my podcast is hosted with you guys), and I want to make sure I can setup each microphone, one by one, so that each microphone will have its own setting after setup is complete. For example, let's say I want to set 2 microphones on "near" mode and 2 other ones on "far" mode. Will it be possible ? At the end, my goal is to use macbook aggregate device functionality to have separate audio tracks for editing, and I want to make sure I would be able to setup the microphones using the full functionality they have with the app ! Thanks !

What’s insane is that there’s absolute ZERO information about what’s actually happening in the signal chain. Is the gain analog, before the A/D converter? There are NO digital level meters, which totally weird, so we have no idea how close we are to clipping. Is the limiter analog prior to the A/D? Is the compressor digital after the A/D? Then it’s passing what levels to, say, an iPad? And of course the iPad also has ZERO digital level meters at the input. It’s like all this stuff is made for people, or by people, who don’t know what they are doing as far as audio gain staging.
