The 4.3L GM V6 has such a distinctive sound to it. It’s not quite a V8, but also not quite a V6. And if figure out a way to turn the RPM up, they can really shriek! Turbo V6 Rotsun as my proof.

Not quite a v8 or v6 is pretty accurate, that's a 350 (5.7) with the front 2 cylinders lopped off
These are awesome! Good friend of mine in high school (early 2000s) had a blacked out S10 Xtreme with 20s, couple JL subs, etc. Was awesome to drive around the malls and hollar at girls😂😎

It's not straight piped if the tail pipe is curved. it's not straight piped if it has a catalytic converter on it. Must be some BS Yankee crap. Everything else about that S10 is spot on beautiful.

That is probably the only V6 I’ve ever heard that sounds so close to a V8. And that’s coming from a guy that absolutely hates V6 engines. Good job.

I loved my 02 4.3 short box s10. Shit was sick at idle. Only when you took it past 3k did it start screaming snixxxer
I’m running 3” full exhaust, no cat or muffler to a 5” RBP tip on my 4.3 blazer. Sounds good for a v6 but it’s still a straight piped v6 lol
it has the right tone for the job for delivering pizzas now
Chevrolet should bring these back with the 5.3 V8 in it.

They have all kinds of performance parts for the 4 3L V6 including headers. You buy some from Summit Racing and Jegs.
I got headers for my 4.3l but no cats so u know its loud

Eh, doesn't sound that good. Paint looks nice, but the kit looks hideous. Bet that hood scoop isn't even functional. And it's auto. Just sad little s10.
