You don’t need to try anymore exhausts. This is the best one for the VB hands down. I tried muffler deletes, straight pips with a resonated midpipe, now the awe touring and I’m done searching for the perfect exhaust for this car. Every muffler delete and/or in muffled catback sounds exactly the same. Awe uses a slightly thicker gauge metal for the piping and the 180* degree muffler are a thing of beauty. All the tone and rumble without any of the drop, pops and cracks when you want it to. Wish I went with this set up sooner.

love both versions, I got the track first and it was lovely I liked it a lot, but the touring is a nice tame version. I got the touring conversion kit and it eliminates the drone you slightly get on the track edition. I switch to touring during the winter, and track during the summer. Basically my car is hibernating in the winter lmao and gets let loose in the summer haha
Sounds great! For some reason I much prefer the tone of the same exhaust on the GT86 though. Guess I’m just biased to the sound of higher revving NA engines.
This is quite nice although I think the Nameless Performance catback with their 4 or 5 inch resonators is even better. Their midpipe portion is one long piece, so one less clamp up there, and the clamps are v-band so very secure.
Kevin, check on your exhaust after driving for about 2 weeks or so. I took care of the exhaust leaks after installing it, a month or so later, leaks left and right. No matter how well i adjusted it or tightened it. The only thing AWD did was just send me new claps. Hopefully those help. Goodluck!
Same! The amount of water it leaks is eye opening. And the black sut that it leaks in combination with the water sucks cause it leaves a stain in the garage
Yea I'm not a fan of slip joint exhausts. It's cheap and they always leak no matter how much you adjust them. Deff wouldn't recommend on a boosted car.
Sounds amazing. I also have the Aeroflow Axel back and wanted to change as well. This sounds great might have to get this one as well. Do you have any other work to car
Hmm that DOES sound good. I hadn't heard of that one when I bought mine so I actually have an ets extreme with resonator going on today. Hopefully I like it, but I think I could change the axel back section for their mufflers... If not I might go with this.
Rule of thumb is to open your parts before you take your car apart. Make sure you have all the parts, otherwise your stick putting you car back together with no new parts added.
Ummm I'm just having a really hard time spending 1,560 dollars on the AWE exhaust system when the sound in crease is at a minimum. The only time you get the boost in sound is when you do a cold start or if your really pushing the car at high rpms. There just isn't that much difference in the stock to the AWE touring in my opinion. I also don't want the loud track version. Thats too much.

I have this exhaust. Had a leak at first. I put the slip joints all the way in and used a little exhaust putty. It's leak free now.

Have this same exhaust - no issues so far. Wish it was held together by bolts instead of hose clamps but the sound has been awesome!

@@cusumano91 exhaust leaks are the devil for boosted cars. Causes weird stuff to happen while driving
