Missed a red variation of these scenes. The red paint is added from the Nuka World DLC and can be found in the Bradburton Theater (The Pack's HQ) Basement. Try to stay away from all the mystery meat you can find there.
you gotta put it on something and wait for it to absorb enough sun so it starts flaking off, like baking potato chips... otherwise it don't taste quite right. Gotta have lead in it too, none of that post 1970's crap
I can't remember if it does, but I think the entire Wall actually does change color depending on the paint you bring doesn't it? It takes awhile but eventually when you return to Diamond City it should change. I've never actually tested it myself because I always bring the green paint. Sadly however bringing more than one can of green paint to Abbot does nothing, he only takes the first can and the rest cannot be sold/scrapped. They aren't marked as quest items nor do they have any weight so I suppose you could just use them as decoration in your settlements.
The caps base game side quests gave was such BS you want me to get shot at by raiders for paint for 100 caps? Get the hell outta here barely covers medical fees if I get shot let alone a bed. Didn’t feel that way til I played survival the game definitely didn’t account for the cheapskates of the wasteland
Genuinely like blue better. And for me it adds to the immersion in Minuteman playthroughs as if the Minutemen are occupying the city. Bringing diamond city, the surrounding settlements, Far Harbor, and Nuka World together to form a giant trading network on the east coast. If you think about it if the General works alongside the BoS you can eventually become trusted and convince them to help open up trade with DC. You have the materials and tech to probably build more albeit smaller airships and boats. That’d something you can have over the NCR trading goods in massive bulk in a fraction of the time by air and sea instead just by land caravans with Brahmins. You can really make the east coast wealthy and resource rich and develop much faster than the NCR.

Personally, I think paint looks better when I'm eating it.
What's the best tasting paint, I'm personally a big fan of Red paint it tastes amazing
Doesn't it taste exactly like cherry? @@SnufflytheAce
Obviously, you're uneducated in paint eating, teal paint is the best tasting there is 🙄
@TyrannoWright Depends on the brand some brands have it a different flavor for some reason

Having Idiot Savant proc at that moment was perfect timing.
I love the idiot savant perk. The sound effects always make me laugh 😂
@@brookelynnwu8016 My girlfriend hates it, but I think that makes it even more amusing when it procs. 🤪
@@brookelynnwu8016;-;
Should’ve had piper there when you painted it blue cause the nickname she gives you
That's diabolical. I love it.
"See this, Piper? You did this!"
Driving the price up then telling them I already did/have what they want never fails to amuse me. 😅
"We all pitched in" *Gives 18 caps* Thanks...
“It was the least we, the ‘Make Diamond City’s Wall Blue Society’ could do.”
Holy crap. Something Stong liked.
You can get red paint from Far Harbour and have it painted red.
Is any special reaction from NPCs in that case?
@@FerzenTES I genuinely don't know. I haven't checked yet.
I wonder if the Blood Can works. I think there's one, at least, in Pickman's Gallery.
@@BinaryJoe I don't believe it does. I think they use the same models and textures but are registered differently.
@@starhammer5247 now that you mention it, the blood can might be a junk item.
I'll have to check it out next time I'm on.
The "blue monster" line from the guard is a reference bc the real life stadium is dubbed "the green monster"
Yep
Wait wtf I just realised. Same voice actor as Hosea from RDR2?
His travels worh Bessie really took him far and wide.
Really? Does not sound exactly the same to me but you could be right
Omg the Pinkertons are still after him
Sorry to shatter your dreams but Abbott's voice actor is called John Mariano, who's not Hosea's actor.
Did you know Bessie isn’t really a horse? It’s his wife
It never occurred to me that the game would accept anything other than green (from a quest standpoint). This is awesome.

No it doesn't
@@itdobelikedattho8112Yes it dors
I think the blue brings out the green more and complements it as well.
No red, sad.
Actually you can find a can of red paint in fat harbor (don’t remember where) but you can bring it to abbot and it actually looks pretty sick
Bro was still painting
i missed a lot of little things from Fallout 4
this video mean a lot to me!
thanks for awesome video
Should've added red as well
It's rare to find red paint but they have some at the vault in far harbor
I think in nuka world too
I tried red paint ua-cam.com/video/_gT9HSqrENg/v-deo.html
@FerzenTES well damn i spoke too soon lol
Good shit
Some place you can find a can of blood
Special Ed Vault Boy liked it blue.
i had no idea you could even do this 😂
I like green and yellow.
It’s not easy being green.

The blue fits more, as its minutemen territory
I paint it blue so it finally is Diamond City
You can mix the colors btw
Yankees fan here so the wall will forever be yellow😂

Does it affect the overall appearance of Diamond City or just that wall in particular?
Just the wall
Blue is best wall.
Isn’t there a red option with a bucket of Blood? Or was that a mod i was using...
Isn’t there Red Paint too?
I tried and it's not an option
We shpuld have been able to use the blood cans. Would have been awesome.
What about Red Blood color?
Not an option
Is there dialogue for painting the wall red
Can you use the blood paint can?
No
@@FerzenTES Okay that could have been a great chance for some awesome dialogue.
Can you use the red paint from the dlc's on the wall?
Yes, actually. Probably orange and purple because as well of that.
In most cases in Bethesda games NPCs from basic game don't have reaction on DLC content. Is it true for this situation?
does the blood can not allow you to paint it red?
Even red paint doesn't allow you to paint it red
Can it be painted red?

I always paint it blue so they are shown as a part of the minutemen 🫡
If they were truly a part of the Minutemen, Preston would mark them on your map as a settlement that needs your help.
