What do you guys wanna see here in Japan?
Nta and cta, those were the best training area's in the marine corps
@@rmb743 can’t post training areas
General tours of places. Appreciate your videos.
I was stationed on Courtney 83 84 my old barracks was down below e club looks like its a little store sure would like to see it now
Shuri castle would be a cool place to visit. Maybe some dash cam type footage driving around Naha to show the difference in traffic. Or what a normal daily commute looks like. Great vid keep 'em coming.
Dang I used to live at Okinawa back in 2011-2013 when my dad had us move over there when he was still in the marines, the BX has changed a lot. wow. A trip thtough memory lane.
I use to watch the SR-71 fly back in 87-88. SEMPER FI 86-91
I would love to see what B.C. Street looks like now. To see how much it has changed since I was there. Spent time on Foster when I was there in the late 80's.
we were there is 86! Might go back and visit in the next couple of years
I’m stationed in Oki now and it’s crazy cause a year ago I was still in high school been watching you for a minute.
Man oh Man, I miss Okinawa.
I watched for old time's sake. I was stationed at Kadena over 40 years ago. Wowie. Your BX is fancy now. Thanks for sharing. Brings back some good memories.
The USAF has such nice things.
Can you post a quick short video of a typical work day in the marine corps? When not in the field & how much free time you get for school etc. with your mos?
Wow! This is awesome. Very interactive content, love this. :)
Great video sir you definitely deserve more views & subs.
Thanks for the tour. My son is currently based at Kadena, and I got more inf😁o from this vid than he has told me.
Enjoy that place, I was stationed there when it was built in 2009. The old PX was a lot smaller, and dated to the 1950s. I see it hasn't changed much since I left in 2010. I was with NMC Okinawa out in the munitions area.
When we lived on Kadena i remember there being product demos outside in the parking lot. There was a new invention called a MICROWAVE oven and someone was showing how you could cook with it.
There was also once a Winnebago motorhome parked out front and you could walk through it. the idea was the people who were rotating back to the states could pre-order a motorhome and pick it up in the states. My dad had a VW campervan which was considered a HUGE personal vehicle on Okinawa so that Winnie looked like a battleship made to drive on the roads. as a kid it looked even bigger.
My dad ordered a huge Chrysler Town and Country station wagon and a 24 foot Shasta trailer which we picked up when we got back in the states and drove straight to Michigan
Another Great Video Brother
Much appreciated
Lived on kadena in 96-98. I was only 8/9 at the time, but its nice to see the familiarity of the BX after all these years.
We currently are located at Camp Walker South Korea. I was going to see your BX. Looks way better than our PX lol😂😂😂😂😂
I would appreciate the upgrade. Of course I am excited to head that way.
But I will say, daegu is the best city to be in so much to do❤
Do more videos big dog! I’m stationed in Korea so it’s cool to see how Japan is.
I was an AF brat at Kadena from 70-72, living offbase for one year in Ishikawa and then one year onbase in officer housing. I cant tell if thats the same BX i remember but it has a ton more selection than back in 1970. there was no fast food at the BX but there was a cafeteria somewhere that we often ate at just after we arrived at the base.
Enjoyed the TOUR
1971 was a long time ago for me. You young guys crack me up.
Ooooo the riots
We probably crossed paths. I was there as a kid from 70-72
@BradiKal61 is quite possible
Super helpful video for us moving out there and our first time overseas! Can you show the baby section a little more? Like do they have crib options and stuff over there?
I always thought the “BX” stood for “Big Ass PX”. Compared to the Foster PX it was.
Hansen got the short straw on PX’s. Probably Schwab too.
Wish I had a video like this before I went to Okinawa back in 2017
Was there in 1969 - 1972 and the BX was one big room like a warehouse and you picked your pants and stuff out of boxes.
Welcome back to Okinawa, I know you missed it lol
More videos like this sir 🫡
I used to live in Okinawa from 2016-2019 for sure miss that place been to Kadena px better than the Px in the U.S
Let little man jump in the water 🤣
It has changed since I was on Okinawa in 1965 to 1967.
I'll bet! I was there as a brat in 1970-1972 . this guy doesnt like the selections but theres a ton more choices than 50 years ago
When I was a kid my dad was stationed on Oki (91-94) and we lived on Kinser in the towers 858. I went to Lester middle school and Kubasaki high school. Kadena used to have a Mongolian BBQ type restaurant, is that still there?
Hey man first and foremost thank you for your service. I was wondering if Kadena is open to guests or if you can actually get a guest pass to shop there without knowing anyone? thank you.
Big change when I was there I n the 80’s! Do they still sell great stereo equipment?
i been there before 80s and 90s.i was work in bc street..i miss there in okinawa japan
Be grateful when I was there in 1991 Burger King was the only place to eat!
We will be there in 3 weeks 😁
I'm going there in October. What's the best way to get a car and is it difficult?
Less shaking and spastic camera 😁 thanks for videos
Can you show us a driving tour of the base? I would like to see what the dorms and the family housing looks like, too. :)
Bruh i just got orders to there. This vid came kn clutch
Ohhhhhh the memories. MCAS Futenma 98-99. We used to go to Kadena EVERY Tuesday for new CD’s and DVD releases…They still got Habu Sake?
That is a really nice and big PX. I would like to be stationed at Kadena AFB.
I remember the first time going to the px in kadena and I was with my Japanese GF at the time so she could get some items for her house and it was nice compared to the camp Schwab px
My Fave BX
This was actually pretty helpful, our family is PCSing in December and we were trying to decide what we were going to sell, almost entirely based on what we could get at the BX.
Is how about a tour of camp Courtney
ahh the big bx in the sky. I miss it sometimes haha
1:30 I lost it when his son started doing Karaokes down the hallway.
More videos of Oki please!
I spent 6 years in California and Never went to SD Recruit Depot or the Exchange! Sigh Next time I visit California I will make this a priority! Semper Fi and Never Quit OOORAH
Thanks... Kadena BX has changed since 1985 !!!! lol
I like Anthony’s Pizza. Seems like bases in Okinawa and Japan are the only ones left
I can’t believe the BX is two floors now lol. Looks a lot like Ft Gordon.
What’s good bro when you doing a live stream
Is gate 2 street still poppin?
Wait till you see Cannon AFB. There’s a dominos and subway and that’s it.
When I left in 2016 the Kadena PX was still insane.
I think it was the biggest OCONUS one until Camp Humphries Korea. 99% sure those 2 are the biggest but not sure which one is legitamately bigger.
Ramstein has the largest BX, Kadena has the second largest
1988 the only food places were Anthony's and Burger King
Since you don’t pay tax on stuff at the BX, how are the prices overall for everything over there? Are they comparable to prices in the US, cheaper or more expensive?
Usually the same! They do have special deals and sales from time to time
32nd Street Navy PX is two levels San Diego
the store does look like Target tho! trippy
Do a video on intolerances can u join the marines with celiac disease and lactose intolerance
Do BX's take american cash, Yen, or is it all debt/credit? Enjoyed the walkthrough.
I'm stationed on kadena, the bx takes usd and card
ummmm...I honestly don't recall it looking like that in the late 80's...
This building isn't that old from what i've heard!
Nice video! My son hopes to get to Japan at some point. I’m sure he will. Can family come over and visit their Marines?
Yes
@@bradhoke5833 thank you Brad that’s good to know
Just got my orders there
make sure to watch some videos i will be posting tomorrow!!
When I was there in 95 all we had was Burger King and Anthonys pizza.
What did they do with my Stereo store?!
I thought the bx had valet parking
We visited our son recently in Virginia and the NEX seemed nice but not as big as that one.
What Marine MOS usually get stationed there? He is aviation electrician.
How far from Camp Foster?
Like 15-20
Px has come a long ways 80’s
Shit I wish they had that much food option at my BX. Dyess BX sucks, nothing but a subway and Charley’s
Only the army calls it the PX.
VOLUNTEER SERVICE PERSONNEL
They sell all that and someone still going to pop on the drug test lol
Man do a video of the Japanese equivalent of a Walmart
Bet
If you se Noriyoshi Miyagi's girlfriend Yukie tell I said Hi :)
should have been there in 1970
He must be a marine! Always complaining!! In Oki 94-96 when stuff was basic but fun. Aim High!!!!!
One minute 30 seconds into your video and you're sick of everything...go back to the states bro!!!
Went to back to Okinawa in 2016 on a family trip. Got to show my Mom Camp Hansen where I was stationed in the ‘90s. Everything seemed smaller than I remembered. I was surprised that the Hansen movie theater sign was the same one that was there in 1997. Even Camp Foster seemed smaller that I remembered!
