@@goodvibespattaya Jason, Couldnt wait so already watched it. From what you said the MG don't sound like the best pick up to buy, but that white MG Extender looked really good. Thanks Craig, I will investigate finance, the MG as with most markets are good value but I think finance might be a challenge unless you had a job or business here but a good question which I need to check out 👍
@@craig975 thanks mate, I will investigate but I have heard it’s difficult for a foreigner to obtain finance unless you have a steady job or can supply financials from a business, basically like all countries I think but if anyone reading in wants to help? Thanks
Great video, really enjoying the car one's. Your certainly giving a lot more information than other UA-cam channels on the price's, which is really helpful for people looking with various budgets. Thanks again
Love the videos mate. I am moving out there in March and seeing the prices on some condos and vehicles is great. They are both things I am about to do. If you run into any pet-friendly condos be sure to mention them. I hope to catch up with you once I get there. Take care
Thanks mate, yeah I will definitely be asking if pet friendly, many buildings are but if you rent it depends on the landlord. Catch up would be great 👍
Hi Jason, this is a great video. We are moving to Bangkok in August and we want to buy a used vehicle. Do you know, or could you please ask the next time you are in a dealership, if we buy a car in Pattaya, but live in Bangkok, will we need to register the car in Bangkok as it is a different province? Do you know if the dealership can do this? Also, have you ever heard of Zunn Auto Center and do you know if their cars are any good? Thanks for your help and keep going with the videos, we really enjoy watching them!
Hi Paul, thank you for the kind words - if you buy in Pattaya or anywhere In Thailand you have to provide your address of residence so if you live in Bangkok the car will be registered in Bangkok when the transfer is done at the land & transport office. I have not heard of Zunn Auto but will google and have a look 👍

For those Aussies out there here is an interesting fact. The GM Thailand assembly plant had a very large design input from Holden. Multiple vehicles on a single line was a specialty and competitive advantage we had. Now assembling MGs in low volume so I suspect only in CKD format with kits coming in from China.
Really interesting thanks. I have seen brief shots on videos of a really small electric car which is supposedly made in Thailand. I’d be interested to see something about it if you’re looking for ideas.

Hi Jason another good video on the used vehicles. I have a question. Don't the used vehicles have what's left on mfg warranty too? Most new ones come with 4/5 year 100k warranty. Doesn't the remainder rollover to new owner like other countries? I was going to buy a 1 or 2 year old model when I get back there as long as remaining factory warranty in place. I was also told it's a good idea to take any newer used car to factory dealer to run the Vin to make sure warranty, mileage, title etc checks out. I've often heard of mileage rollback in thai too so be careful. Good stuff man

The sales lady is awesome and knowledgeable. Are 4X4's really necessary for city driving or are there alot of rural areas close to Pattaya?
Personally I don’t think a 4x4 is necessary unless you want to 4x4 or tow a boat or something
how about doing a back lot video i assume they have them same as Korat garages / sales lots

What's the cost of registering and can vehicles be driven across borders easily?
Not 100% sure on used cars, traveling across borders I believe is no problem with a car registered in Thailand
