Suspiria Theme by Goblin (An Historic Accordion Cover)

The month of Halloween seemed like a great time to pay tribute to one of the most memorable horror film themes of all time, from Dario Argento's Suspiria. Both the more atmospheric beginning and the upbeat middle section in the original provide crucial atmosphere both with or without Argento's delirious imagery, and it was fun to try and figure out how to recreate some of the extremely inventive production the band used on this score. In addition to accordion, I provided vocals, Hohner International II Electronic Piano, Tenor Recorder, Glockenspiel, and programmed drums and bass.
