Taiwanese street food is one of the best few in the world. I escaped Vietnam and stayed a year in Taiwan, love their street foods especially the traditional ones!
American food is very rough, especially in country, or anywhere not a big city. I had been to many countries, they had different culture with different taste cuisine, they all somehow taste good, or have a special taste. However, Ameican food is non-taste, bad taste, tough, like burnt out carbon, hard coke. Those fried to very hard, mixed with sauce with many chemical mixture. Those are worst food. I have a experience in Boston and Worcester. Non of restaurants in worster is ok, every restaurants in Boston are good.
I seriously, seriously want to go to Taiwan to eat lots of good food. :) My cousin works and lives there and her feed is always filled with the best food photos, especially on the weekends.
I tested both and I prefer when there is less tomato sauce, the taste is more balanced between tomato, pizza dough and other stuff. I also understand people who prefer a nice tomate sauce layer
Well u can always ask for more or less sauce, I used to work in a pizza place before and personally I like less sauce , if theres more sauce, u can only taste the sauce but when it's less sauce u can taste everything on it

As an Italian, with a sister that work in a pizzeria, I can say that pizza it's fantastic. Maybe I would have done something different, like the choices of the ingredients for example, but it looks as fine as it is for me 💜

Yeah, that's why you need to change gloves very frequently. Nothing is germ free. But it does protect a lot better than bare hands, even though you wash them. It's a common fact and that's why it western restaurants are required to wear gloves when preparing food with hands. It's not only germs but also sweat. Plus hairnets to prevent hairs in food. The thing is, Streetfood vendors in Asia don't usually take health and hygiene as an important thing. Even in the western they rather not, but they break rules if they do. Also meat in warm outdoor climate doesn't need to be out in the open. It attracts flies, and other insects and creates a haven for meatbacteria. Those sausages having a Michelin star like that, surprises the heck out of me. I am not even sure if it's legitimate. Most native habitants developed a resistance against these bacteria, but how many times I heard of western tourists getting very sick of Asian street food, resulting in diarrhea, dehydration, etc. And this global pandemic today, wasn't that because of a Chinese food market in Wuhan, and somebody got sick of a virus hiding in food? Street food looks good, but I would never eat it, due to this lack of hygiene.

This make me feels like a throw back of 1997 in my hometown, it's lovely cozy atmosphere that I wish I got another chance to enjoy. Well might fine an opportunity to travel there one day.
I had handmade pizza in Taiwan and that was the best pizza I ever had. The woman had a pickup truck with a kiln made out of brick and clay in the back of the pickup bed (husband was a carpenter and a bricklayer and made the kiln for his wife on the back of their pickup truck). She would then use various dried fruit woods to fire the kiln the while the kiln was heating she would hand make the pizza off to the side of the truck. Pizza was served in a pizza box just like a pizza takeout pizzeria. Innovative and pizza was as good as an authentic Italian restaurant.

Yeah, that's why you need to change gloves very frequently.
Nothing is germ free. But it does protect a lot better than bare hands, even though you wash them. It's a common fact and that's why it western restaurants are required to wear gloves when preparing food with hands. It's not only germs but also sweat. Plus hairnets to prevent hairs in food.
The thing is, Streetfood vendors in Asia don't usually take health and hygiene as an important thing. Even in the western they rather not, but they break rules if they do.
Also meat in warm outdoor climate doesn't need to be out in the open. It attracts flies, and other insects and creates a haven for meatbacteria. Those sausages having a Michelin star like that, surprises the heck out of me. I am not even sure if it's legitimate.
Most native habitants developed a resistance against these bacteria, but how many times I heard of western tourists getting very sick of Asian street food, resulting in diarrhea, dehydration, etc.
And this global pandemic today, wasn't that because of a Chinese food market in Wuhan, and somebody got sick of a virus hiding in food?
Street food looks good, but I would never eat it, due to this lack of hygiene.

I had handmade pizza in Taiwan and that was the best pizza I ever had. The woman had a pickup truck with a kiln made out of brick and clay in the back of the pickup bed (husband was a carpenter and a bricklayer and made the kiln for his wife on the back of their pickup truck). She would then use various dried fruit woods to fire the kiln the while the kiln was heating she would hand make the pizza off to the side of the truck. Pizza was served in a pizza box just like a pizza takeout pizzeria. Innovative and pizza was as good as an authentic Italian restaurant.
I should probably not be watching this at 3am while I'm hungry.
