(random tangent: people like miyu takeuchi formerly of akb48/produce48 have a sizable following on yt and can make a living through direct fan support via superchat/subscribestar/subscriptions. there are many celebrities like her who are less depedent on agencies for distribution, promotions, and funding. however, they don't seem as well developed in other aspects. wonder if there are 'virtual-to-real' bridging agencies that provide support with the 'know how' and contacts above (for non-yt matters) without the institutional overhead/costs of aks/cube/etc? maybe an agency like 8d creative, but with project-by-project support (not a long-term contract)? they have youtuber erina on their roster, as well as hyewon of iz*one and sadness manager formerly of twice.)
