Very nice. Lots accomplished this month. For the "Moon's out Broom's out", you should also back stitch the 2 "out" words in a slightly darker colour, so they can stand out too. Right now they blend in too much with the fabric and is getting lost. Can't wait for your next update on the stitching and knitting!

Between the Pines- love the green and how it blends !! I definitely see the dimension of the Moon’s vs the Brooms ! You make me miss doing cross stitching , but alas, my eyes fail me. So I’ll just admire yours !! ❤

Threw your toys out of the pram. 😄😄😄 Too funny but I totally get it. It's disappointing but I love your attitude. Always go forward and of course fake it to make it. As for Santa I'm so glad you brought him out again. I don't find him sinister at all with those sparkling eyes. I'm happy that you're doing your other sea horse too. It is so pretty.

It's just plain old DMC . You know I would go for the affordable option. No silk here for a huge project 🤭🤣

Usually yes the only thing is you may need DPNs if there is a smaller stitch count and the 9" is too big

The whisper does contain mohair more than that I don't know 😊

Have you tried using Thread Heaven with Metallic Threads? It coats the thread and makes it, slightly, easier to stitch with😊

Great to see your progress. I've had the same dilemma with back stitch as I don't like how stitches look when they are too long. Take care.
Yes back stitch is something I change depending on the project. Sometimes you just have to start and see how it looks . I'm glad I'm not alone . Happy stitching
Love your videos just wondered what kind of cross stitch hoop do you use?
I prefer a Q-snap frame . They are chunkier to hold and grip the fabric well . But I do use wooden hoops especially for smaller projects 😁
Tina At the Met is beautiful. I understand you are disappointed because it isn’t perfect but please see the beauty you’ve created more often than the imperfections. You bring so much joy to all of us we’d like to think you bring yourself joy too
Thank you for your lovely comment. Yes I do see the beauty not just the errors. I do feel a responsibility to be honest about my mistakes. There is so much fake Perfect life images on the internet. I think it's damaging to our self esteem and discouraging. There's nothing wrong with being human and messing up occasionally or even regularly 😁
I appreciate your honesty when errors happen it is felt in the heart and the gut. You are so creative; I wonder if you added some different details such as couching a sparkling thread or whisper thread if the beading doesn’t work out.
