I have a neighbour who drives for Stagecoach in South West Scotland, he used to be full-time until he retired a couple of years ago but he has since returned on part-time basis and he generally drives one or two days a week. He says that most of the drivers love to drive a good Volvo. The Enviro 200 there's quite a few of, generally 10-reg, 62-reg and 64-reg at the moment. Optare Solo (which are made in Yorkshire) they have a couple of 12-reg, about half a dozen 13-reg and a couple of 15-reg. They acquired a couple of brand new 70-reg just 2 years ago. They don't have any double deckers. But they several Volvo Plaxton Elites for the longer distance routes. At least one 60-reg, one 61-reg and about three 63-reg plus a few more. Although they could be due some newer coaches in the coming months. Just have to wait and see, nothing is certain.
Great video, its nice to see behind the scenes so to speak,a good collection of old and new buses, its a pity you were'nt allowed to go in any of them,iv'e passed that depot many times walking along the hyde road when i visit manchester going for a beer in gorton, hope your well, the videos you do are very informative, well done pal,all the best from edinburgh😁👍❤️
