Major OOPS! It's "weatherproof", NOT "waterproof"! In fact, it was the very first "weatherproof" camera ever! (I warned my bosses at Olympus that the term would be easily misunderstood, but did they listen?? Naw!) That means (when new) that you could splash it with water, but NOT immerse it! (But given it's age, I would be cautious -- the seals may have become compromised over the decades.) Second, the front barrier sometimes wears out, so that the detent ball that makes it "click" open and closed pops out. The camera may still work, however, if you hold the cover open. Another somewhat frequent problem seen over the years is that the shutter blades sometimes jump over each other so that the can't fully close. They still operate, though, so you won't know there's a problem unless you look closely through the lens, or get a roll of film processed. If the images look like the have circular swirls on them, that's your problem. I've always wanted to use one with this fault deliberately to create interesting images, but the intensity of the effect depends on how much ambient light the lens is subjected to before taking an image, and how long the barrier is left open. Another word of warning -- never use a sharp pencil to activate the manual film rewind button -- it's easily pierced, and the pencil led may short circuit the electrical contacts underneath. Last thing -- when loading film, put the leader up to the red stripe ONLY, then close the back cover. DON'T push the leader deeper into the take-up chamber than the stripe.
After these videos came out the price for this camera went up to around 150-240 lol We had this one when I was young and we still had. In fact the only reason I searched this again is because I found it in the attic.
You can use black Electric Tape over the flash, and the resolution centre on eBay for a refund for the broken Super you purchased. Don’t mention it, 🙏.

My favourite ever day carry with colour negative film.
The lens is super sharp and anyone can use it. It's always in my daybag
Love the video. Just got my AF-1 and am excited to see the results I'm on my 3 roll now.
This camera was outshined by modern Olympus Stylus Epic but it’s definitely a slept on gem. Good video & realistic review!

Great review until you said, "Ebo people that scam you"... just pointing out it's not funny but offence.
