You should also show them Crocodile Dundee 2.
I liked 2. Decent sequel.
Can't wait
Glad it had a real plot@@oaf-77
Raeen fell in love again... For the 50th time!!!😂
He's an admitted adulterer, so that's no surprise.
He hasn't realized she would be in her 60's now.
Lol
The younglings think that year 1985 was prehistoric 😅
Paul Hogan is a legend. He also married his co-star Linda Kozlowski after that.
They have amazing chemistry.
I love how Raeen noticed the similarities between Dundee's travels and their own. Just as they enjoyed watching Dundee, we enjoy watching them!
Yes. 👍
What a great discussion they had after, love the way they compared it to their own experiences
Greetings from Australia, a lovely reaction... when a movie's story is relatable to anyone, the characters genuine & the humour / warmth is there - then it is universally loved like 'Crocodile Dundee'.
That was a stroke of genius, to show them that movie right after their own trip! :D
I hope you'll also show them Crocodile Dundee 2 soon. I'm sure they'll have their fun with this one.
Also, now that they've seen the New York of the 80's - Ghostbusters!!! =)
Yes! Ghostbusters!
Oh man I'll have to look for that one. Didn't know they watched it
@@aw5832What? Ghostbusters? No, they didn't. That was just a suggestion.
@@dmschoice2571 oh yeah I misread that
When one can relate to a movie it adds another layer of enjoyment to the viewer's experience. You can tell they all enjoyed the movie very much because they can relate to the story.
I watched this with a tiny amount of dread in my heart. The Australian sense of humour is so unique it often does not translate well. It's not like the British or Americans, though there are elements of both present. We've a unique history that has shaped the people, their attitudes and the way they speak, into something that is borderline unintelligible to others. :P I'm glad they enjoyed the movie so much, though I wish I could have been there with them to clarify some things. I won't deny being amused they had as much trouble determining the purpose of the bidet and did Dundee. :D
Raeen: "Babu, don't wave. Listen to the story carefully", as Raeen massages his brow.😅
You 3 guys are wonderful. A great reaction. ❤❤❤❤❤
"A very old film"... 😅😅😅
We are dust then.
Yes, Babu, there were helicopters in 1986 😐 And yes, Raeen, there were TVs, too. 😆🙄
Not in India at that time, they were still in the bronze age lol
Both developed in the 1940s, but their perception of technology is what was available in their limited location in relation to the timeframe of the movie; from that perspective, America of the 1950s, let alone the '80s, seems incomprehensibly advanced to them.
@@caveatlector2671I get what you're saying but I'm not buying it. I think people hear 40+ years ago and it sounds like the dark ages to them. I've heard young people in the US wondering if there were contact lenses as early as the 80s 🙄 Ignorance and lack of thinking before speaking are worldwide phenomena.
@@erwaldox 🤣 they had all the same tech in india at the same time as the usa in real live and in the bollywood movies
Good film to show them, they could understand how the hero felt.
Oh! Romancing the stone is another adventure film they would probably love! ❤ And please tell Raen there are no big cats in Australia 😊
Crocodile Raeen🐊
He is ready to fly to America!
Thank you for including something with Australia
Yes. I hope they do more. Including the Mad Max trilogy!
Please also watch ‘The Gods Must Be Crazy’
That would be great. 👍
“we have heard your request and will be showing them *city of God* “
No
Fish out of water films are always entertaining.
I love the way Raeen says "Babu Bhai...", he says it with such sweetness and affection😍
You might want to let them know that newspapers started in the 1800's and helicopters along with airplanes, avaiation started in the early 20th Century, early 1900's.
In 1800 there were 200 newspapers being published in the United States. By 1860 there were 3000. Many of the new urban papers that were founded in the 1830s and 40s reached unprecedented circulation numbers.
Water towers have been around since the mid 1800’s too! Babu’s older than me, and they’re making me feel ancient by talking about the 80’s like it was the dark ages. Hell, cell phones were around in 83!😂
@jamest2490 I know what you mean as living in a small village they unfortunately don't understand how advanced other places were and how early.
Films were being shown just 1.5 miles down the road from me 130 years ago.
You guys should show them-
The Gods Must Be Crazy.
Really funny movie from 1980.
Would go well with how they themselves where thrown into the modern world a couple years ago.
Bros wait til you find out we had computers in 1986…❤
🤣 they had all the same tech in india at the same time as the usa in real live and in the bollywood movies
@@winwinmilieudefensie7757 I realize that but not sure they do
Raeen talking about 1986 as if it were centuries ago, "look, there were water towers at that time" 🤣 Another great vid
At least it was last century, last Millenium even
The gents colour coordination is impeccable!
YESSS!!!! one of my all time go to films
Them laughing at the cross dressers and transvestite scenes had me rolling 🤣
I liked this movie too. Fun watching with you.
I love Sarrus laugh 🙂
Everything I know about Australia comes from this movie.
This was so great! It's been quite a while since I saw that film. Nice to see how much they related to it after their own experiences in Bangkok. I am missing Ruby though... I hope you finish the Harry Potter series soon!
Hello from Australia. I went to see my relatives in India in 1979 and they had television then even. India has different places.
In 1987 I went to the Northern Territory in Australia and I ate so many of the sugar ants. I only stopped eating them because I felt bad for eating them. But it was so sweet, better than honey even.
Next time don't ask Babu Bhai, just ask me about anything you want. 😀
Would you believe that I watched 5 different reactions to this movie only today! Funny thing that so many people are watching it and uploading it around the same time.
And yesterday I watched some other people from India who were watching Crocodile Dundee. 🐊
I loved how Babu Bhai was getting into the Aboriginal music and dancing. 🎶
It's funny how Babu Bhai teases Raheen. It's very "Australian". 🇦🇺🦘👍
Don't take it to heart Raheen. 😅
He's only joking with you. 👋🤨😀
I had to Google "sugar ants" and Wikipedia told me that they are "household pest" but my eyes are tired and I first read "household pets" 😅 and I thought - well, Australians have interesting animals as pets, indeed 🤔
I was no stranger to a green ant when I was over travelling the east coast, but I never made it anywhere near a sugar ant!
@@gloryshadow8710 Pets? That's crazy. . people have ants in their homes and some people have "ant farms", usually children. Sugar Ants are in the outback, the local Aboriginal people taught me how to eat them. Maybe UA-cam has something on them.
@@gloryshadow8710 One time when I was working in the pizza shop a customer brought a pet snake with her. 🐍
It was a cute little thing. I let it wrap around my forearm a couple of times and I continued my work taking pizzas out of the oven. After about 10-15 minutes their order was ready and they took the snake back. So yeah, there are weird pets in Australia.
I have cats. They are much worse than snakes. LOL 😹🐈⬛
@@berranari1 yeah, Im not a native English speaker and I briefly confused pets and pest 😅I didnt know such species as sugar ants existed, at least I learned something new today!
I LOVE this movie!!!
Yeah let them watch " the gods must be crazy "
I never saw them laugh as much
You should also watch part 2.
And tell those men, these actors married in real life!! And were together for many years
Ooh, now they really need to watch "George of the jungle"
agree and maybe even King Kong(wither it be 33 76 or 05 tho I do prefer the original first one)
@@hubertberrum6242 I dont agree , but the Kong Movies or Skull Island 👍
@@alimantado373 ok, fun fact their country made a movie based on King Kong and Dr Cyclops(a movie about a mad scientist who made a shrinking device) it's called Shikari(hunter) and it's similar to Konga and The Mighty Gorga
@@hubertberrum6242 OK, but I dont agree with George of The Jungle, a remake of Tarzan , with American in jokes from the period it was made , even the modern generation of Americans wouldnt get the jokes in it.
First thing I thought is that there must be an Indian version of King Kong, thanks for enlightening me that in fact there were Indian remakes of the movie🙏
@@alimantado373 there's an indian movie called Tarzan And King Kong in which Tarzan fights a gorilla(a normal one not a giant one)
Gotta love the culture shock of seeing a modern independent woman of the 80s 😄
They could show a movie from the 1960's with independant women and it would still be a cultural shock
Love your reaction!! There is another Crocodile Dundee movie you may want to watch?
I felt enamored with the female lead as well ( like Raeen )..I thought for sure she'd have a huge acting career ahead of her. Between her, Hogan, the script and oh the music..they made a masterpiece.
some suggestions for great 80s movies:
Neverending Story (1984)
Ghostbusters (1984)
Gremlins (1984)
Ladyhawke (1985)
Willow (1988)
Big trouble in Little China (1986)
Airplane! (1980)
Coming to America :)
(1988)
@@dmschoice2571 nice! Also Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
@@gloryshadow8710 Oh yes, of course!!!
That was fun!
"Babu, did you remember anything about Bangkok?"
Savage...
Please, have them watch "The Gods Must be Crazy".
Some other incredible movies they might watch are "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and "Stardust" .... both Fantasy, "Bruce Almighty"... comedy, "Tombstone" .... cowboy western, "Minority Report".... Science Fiction, and "Dirty Dancing" .... Romance
Stardust is wonderful!
Can you please tell the boys then after this movie they got married in real life it was a true love story. Also that crocodile Dundee wasn't just a fictional character he is a real person he was one the richest Australians owned the most amount of protected and and was a very big success in nature Conservancy
the "fish out of water" story
I have a great trip to California already planned for you! Looking forward to it
TVs and helicopters were developed around the 1930s, give or take a bit.📺🚁
🤣 they had all the same tech in india at the same time as the usa in real live and in the bollywood movies
"Babu! The crocodile can come!" 🐊 Perfect timing
They should know that these two married in real life and did an additional two movies together as a couple.
They were married for 20 years before they divorced.
In the transexual scene... "Babu, did you remember anything about Bangkok?". What did Babu in Bangkok? We need a film about this guys, hahaha.
The Hang Over in reverse
Let's get them some 80s teen movies. Help me out guys
Ferris Bueller 1986

They must watch Coming to America next!!
Nice
Please watch "Prince of Egypt" and "Joseph The Dreamer". I would love to see their reactions!
Did they forget that Dundee told her that over the meal of grubs he made for her?
God's must be crazy 🤣
I feel for Raeen in his attraction for the girl. When I watched "Crocodile Dundee" I really fell for Paul Hogan. I was 35. It was painful. hahaha! Took a while to adjust. Go figure...I love a variety of men's personalities and appearances. But, sadly have not been able to have either. One...was too late. June
Most Excellent ¿
Dundee 2 is even better.
Crocodile Dundee 2 should be next ! Don't watch the third one, though.
The legend of Tarzan 2016 needs reacting to 💯
Crocodile Dundee was basically made by the Australian tourist board to promote their country. And it accidentally became an 80s classic. Paul Hogan's performance is charming, and the humor is for the most part very clever.
The sequel is really good, too. Well worth a watch.
It did to Australia, what Lord of the rings did to new Zeeland 15 years later
REACT TO GREMLINS, WITH BABU AND RAEEN!!!!
The papa i wish i had.
Not 28yrs ago Babu...38yrs ago since it's release date in 1986.😆
Should have let them know this starts in Australia, not the US
Gandhi 1984. So they can see their own country.
still angry because babu not react to lion king (1994)
Maybe he can watch it with Ruby
The sequel is good too.
I love Babu but he doesn't stop talking and he has to be corrected by the other 2 guys because he's so busy talking he isn't paying attention to the film.
May I suggest gaffa tape.
He always does that
@@kalasatwater2224 yer I know.
Then he starts making up a song.
I can see the frustration on the other guys faces because he causes them to miss parts of the story.
Your worst nightmare at the cinema.
😂😂😂
@@coot1925 Yeah he was less annoying before 😅
@@kalasatwater2224 I understand that they have to respect him because of his age, but they know more about the western world than he does.
I think he feels a bit left behind by the youngsters.
I'm 62 and if I wanted to know something to do with technology I'd ask my 18 year old niece, not my 72 year old sister.
To be honest, we all feel a bit left behind when we get old and crusty, but I've tried to keep up with tech.
It's the new terminology I can't keep up with.
@@coot1925 I hope they tell him to dial it down a bit so they can concentrate in the movies 😅
You should try the Mel Gibson movie “Apocalypto”
Hah I was curious to see how much of this movie would be lost in translation. Surprisingly not much! I'm glad they enjoyed it, I love these guys. Hoges is an Aussie legend, well to those of us who still remember. "They had water tanks and helicopters back in 1986?" lol It wasn't *that* long ago. Everything you see around you today in the US or Australia is still basically the same as what we had back in the 1980's, except for mobile phones and the internet. Back then being an Aussie bloke meant you were a bit of a cheeky scallywag, but you'd give the shirt off your back to anyone who needed it and always a gentlemen to the fairer gender. You don't see this kind of ethos much anymore, anywhere let alone "Straya. It's fading away. Just look at that red soil. Aside from the presence of microorganisms, the iron oxide rich soil is actually not much different to that you'd find on Mars.
The women is American crocodile dundee is Australian
There has not been 600 million years.
what does dundee mean to them?
Its intriguing to see their shock when they see helicopters and TVs in movies from the 70s and 80s. They think things like that are all current inventions because they didnt see anything like that in india until very recently. I'm amazed and a bit saddened at the same time.
🤣 they had all the same tech in india at the same time as the usa in real live and in the bollywood movies
I clicked on this video so fast! 😅❤
Based on crocodile?
What I want to understand is how do you understand what's being said or what's happening in the movie when a certain person never shuts his mouth and you talk through the whole movie how do you know what's happening cuz it's being translated you have to listen to it
watch Hulk 2003
Please finish the Star Wars films
Let them watch some black and white films. Alred Hitchcock etc
I think they could use some history lessons.
Slumdog millionair
